A TBBT/LHOTP crossover in honor of Amy Farrah Fowler. Please join me with ideas for what happens next!
A lone horn sounds... Then the orchestra chimes in, playing the iconic LHOTP theme song in all it's glory. The scene is a wildflower and tall-grass-covered hill. First, Laura runs down it gleefully smiling, then Mary, and finally little toddler Carrie who trips over her own feet. The camera pans over to the side where Sheldon can be seen shaking his head and rolling his eyes. Stupid toddler. She can't even run down a hill? Not to mention now all three girls will have to be checked for ticks after running through that tall grass...
The show opens to a schoolyard full of children and the town square...

Yeah I guess when they started adopting all of those superfluous kids was when the show jumped the shark. Or the prairie dog. They jumped the prairie dog.
I miss those kerfuffles on the old board.

Sheldon is made aware of a scientist out in California, a Doctor Brown. He doesn't sound quite as backward as these hicks and he may be doing something with time travel. Meanwhile Howard has been improving the saw mill using modern engineering principles. When Leonard helps they accidentally create a space/time vortex that sucks Pa Ingalls into it. When he returns he is delirious calling out for Pa, Adam and Hoss. When he comes to he's convinced he's an angel. Amy and Caroline have meanwhile switched to drinking the "special" Christmas punch.

I like it! Michael Landon jumping through time to his various shows! I didn't watch Bonanza or Highway to Heaven. That's another quirk (of many) that I have. Once I get attached to an actor in a certain role, I don't like seeing them in other roles. Just call me Sheldonette.
Anyway, perhaps there could be a scene in this crossover where TBBT gang eats a meal with the LHOTP gang. The LHOTP characters would eat their food heartily (Charles Ingalls spent half his time on the show talking with his mouth full) and TBBT would just push their food around on their plates, as is their special talent.

Bakula sounds like Dracula, and even though I don't know who Scott Bakula is, whenever I hear his name I think of long, pointy fangs.

You really need to get out more. Scott Bakula was one of the captains of the Enterprise on the TV show Enterprise.

I've heard of him. I just never watched any shows he was in. He was just always that guy who sounded like Dracula.

Lemons, you had Michael Landon jumping through time through his various shows. I brought up Scott Bakula because that is exactly what he did in his show Quantum Leap He got stuck in time and in each episode he ended up in another time just like you wanted ML to do. So there.

Probably. I would have to look it up (--Pause as I look this up--) Why yes there was a Quantum Leap episode with a Dracula like vampire in an old-timey English castle. Also actors who have been in LHOTP have also later been on QL.
