Happy New Year. Hope there will be more posting on this board in the new year. I came here cuz I wanted to talk about the show. Seems wierd for a board about such a popular show to be so dead.
I became active on the IMDB board around season 7-8? And wow, was it an active place with lots of fun characters and interesting discussions. When IMDB pulled the plug on boards, many showed up here, but not all. And with the show ending, keeping discussions going is tricky. I'm guilty of not dropping by here enough but will try to change that. I do miss the voices that I used to read daily.
Cheers to 2020!
I too moved over here from the board that shall not be named. By the time the show finale rolled around there were only a few left. Then I too left this page because I was all BBT'd out. I haven't even watched a single rerun since. Don't know what there is left to say but if the folks at the Star Trek board can still carry on so can we. Bazinga !
Hm, I'm wondering if we all just needed a break. A breather after a long run. I'm feeling up for more discussions. But..not sure how to 'engage' them. ...see what I did there? ;)
I'll just start by doing the same as on the other boards, e.g. "Star Trek", "Mission Impossible", "Perry Mason": participate in and post 'game' threads. Little knowledge is necessary and everyone can chime in with their own remarks.
Of course, in the long run, there will also be the usual threads on episodes and other topics.
On this board there are like 50 old pages to comb through too. Perhaps I can hire Alex to do that (McGee won't mind).
I actually went through all the 50 pages a few days ago out of a feeling of nostalgia. Without all those original posters with their individual personalities reusing some of the threads won't have the same effect. I suppose we could just go by trial and error and see what happens.

Wow! @genplant29 I didn't know you were a bot.
That's what Sheldon would've asked. He's still not convinced yet that you're a real human.

Glad to see you again on the "TBBT" board. It's been quiet around here.
I hope the others will also 'pop' (sorry

@Treebark Welcome.
It's been quiet here since the finale. Feel free to post here on the board and hopefully the others will also return this year.
