First of all Penny announcing she is pregnant on the last show to me was completely unnecessary. Is she or isn't she is pointless. Let her be Penny Schrodinger, yes no who cares. Adds nothing to the show unless there was another season to build on it. Was there really a great desire from the fans to have this happen. Leonard's dumb line of "our children will be smart and beautiful" , please. I secretly think that she is carrying Zacks baby.
Anyways name the kiddo. Or is she carrying more than one ? Twins perhaps ?

My initial entry is Znex (or Znexetta) Hofstadter. Perhaps they can give it Penny's maiden name as it's middle name, whatever that was. I assume they know what it was even if we don't. Also, it seems trendy these days to end names in -den or -lyn. Maybe they can name it Leonardlyn or Pennyden. Then their child can be smart, beautiful and have a name that is stylish.

Or maybe the kid's name could just be an insignia like Prince had for a while and it could be called "the child formerly known as whatever Leonard and Penny named them".

I didn't like her suddenly changing her mind, but I expected it. What surprised me a little was that Amy wasn't pregnant too.
Nicolaus or Nicole - Nickel for short (that's 5 pennies) - after Nicolaus Copernicus (scientist whose theories in some way contributed to the Big Bang Theory).
First comes love
Then comes marriage
Then comes baby
In a baby carriage!

Following that logic it should be Galileo Nicholas Isaac Albert Stephen Wyatt Hofstadter. Penney will call him Wyatt.

Well in a way she didn't "change her mind" because that would have been in advance. After their "oops" she had to either get used to the idea, or have an abortion which hasn't happened on a TV "sitcom" since Maude, far as I remember. And that's been over 40 years ago. First, last, and only sitcom abortion.

In "Young Sheldon" the narration by Jim Parsons as Old Sheldon announces that he and Amy will have kids which will put his agreement making to good use. This will certainly screw up the Cooper kids more than Beverley messed up Leonard.

Penny will think of the name Wyatt as after her father while Leonard will think of the name Wyatt as in the Silver Surfer's good friend Wyatt Wingfoot.

Carol Danvers was Captain Marvel as well as other incarnations well before the movie.

Carol Danvers was Ms. Marvel before she took over from the original (male) Captain Marvel:
Why is Captain Marvel a boy in the comics but is a girl in the movies?
So there is no problem why someone else - female - could become Captain America, and Penny could name her baby , boy or girl, 'Captain America'.
