Anyone doing anything special to watch the finale? I'm not having a party or anything, but I did do some research on what Sheldon usually ate for dinner on Thursday nights. I found conflicting information. In one place it said Thursday was pizza night and in another place it mentioned anything can happen Thursday. I guess I'll go to the conservative route and have pizza tonight in honor of the show. I have also ordered all people in my house not to stare at me while I cry all the way through it. 😛

Got home with about 20 minutes left in last episode. Decided to turn it on. Picked up where they were on the plane. Not a bad ending! Really liked the retrospective and that fade-out of the studio at the end. Nice touch having Ed Robertson/BNL record a new version of theme.
Now I still have to go back and rewatch the first ep from tonight! Really thought about how I got into this show 6 years ago and then found the IMDB board we were all on. That was a lively place. Sad both it and some of the characters we spent time with there are no longer with us. Cheers to them...and us fans..an amazing show ...and to "Astronaut Howard Wolowitz" ...that was cool. Hope you're done crying Lemons.

The finale and special did make me teary-eyed, but afterwards I also got sleepy. I decided to let it all sink in and then post more today when my brain was fresh. I'll start a finale discussion thread shortly if one doesn't pop up in the meantime. Hope to see you there!

I miss all the music that used to be on this board. Here's a peppy "goodbye to our show" song to start the party: I picked this version because I liked their flappy bellbottoms

Well, I'm an "inny" (is that how that's spelled?) as far as bellybuttons, so I couldn't flap mine if I wanted to.
