"Amazon employs thousands of workers who listen to voice recordings captured by the company's Echo "smart" speaker devices...."

It was pretty recently when "Smart Televisions" were found to be listening and reacting when people plugged them in.
Some were watching, too, weren't they? The ones with cameras allowing control by gestures? (I've got your gesture right here!)
So much for voice recognition security systems, huh—now that thousands of Alexa handlers are busy learning “You Speak”.
Making the rounds...
"My son asked why I speak so softly in the house. I said I was afraid the NSA was listening. He laughed, I laughed, Alexa laughed."
