(1) Think that (if this were a few seasons earlier or at least since Kripke “left”) Dr. Campbell and Dr. Pemberton would have made great recurring cast members. Since they are Shamy’s rivals there is no reason to like them—yet, they are likable. As for their song, “Let’s Get Physicists”, the actors seemed to be having as much fun as the characters.
(2) On one of the other Boards there was a discussion (after Shatner’s appearance) re: the show’s $-people opening up the “vault” in order to attract “heavy-hitters” for the final season. Don’t know about that, but wouldn’t be surprised if they had to kick out more than a few extra to get Ellen and that many Nobel Laureates.
(3) Favorite exchange…
Amy and Sheldon sent out cookies to some Laureates that Sheldon had insulted in the past. In return, Sheldon received a picture from one of them, Saul Perlmutter…
Sheldon: Oh, he arranged the cookies to spell out “thank you”.
Amy: Sheldon, that word isn’t “thank”.
(4) Favorite line…
Sheldon and Amy’s reception with the Laureates was invaded by their rivals, Dr. Campbell and Dr. Pemberton...
Penny: "Uh-oh. I haven’t been to a lot of parties like this; but what does a physics rumble look like?"
(5) Regarding the 'astronaut book'—I agree with Howard – change the book. Can’t see anyone wanting something so unflattering as a part of their lasting legacy no matter how cute it may seem now.
(6) Starting toabout Anu and Denise; especially when Raj was talking about having all his friends watching “Ellen” with him. Not seeing them for such a stretch seeems odd--not hearing them mentioned, even odder.

Not an Ellen fan. Wondered what she was on the show for. Is she a fan ? I don't think the shows fan base is a fan of hers. So many others I would much rather see.
Campbell and Pemberton didn't do much for me. A pair I doubt we will see again.
The book bit was funny but needed more time.
Bring back Anu and Denise. Time is ticking.

Only 6 episodes left to wrap up the series. seems to me like they're wasting precious time.

I'm already a fan of the actors (especially Astin)--so, I guess some of that could be residual
veneration. But, I think Amy’s line about "Ellen" fans liking them, could have been art-imitating-life. That is, something the writers included because of how well Dr. P. and Dr. C. were received by the audience their first time around.
Of course, I could be reading too much into that line—after all, as I said, I am a fan.

My problem is the whole Asymmetry theory storyline. Sheldon and Amy just came up with that and all of a sudden they are in line for a Noble prize ? The show is pushing it too much. It would be more believable on a Star Trek show. I would like Campbell and Pemberton better if they were on the show earlier. but watching tham again they were pretty good and Sheldon is in line for a villain to thwart his plans now and then. As for Ellen, Raj explained it that he liked that all his friends came together to watch something he likes with him. However of all the people they should put on, she is less than the last person I would want to see. Ellen and Ellen fans like Campbell and Pemberton because of their Youtube clips and songs not the science. Where is "Footsteps on the Moon" when you need them.

To paraphase H. L. Mencken:
No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the viewing public.
