Can’t help but wonder what an autographed copy of that photo the group took at the end of "The D&D Vortex" episode would be worth!

Probably nowhere near as much as the Bradley Cooper-Ellen DeGeneres selfie, since it was “real life” and not a scripted event; but, stillthinking.

I don't think much. It is possible that it only exists in digital form. Today's generation has no need for such things in hard copy. Maybe Chuck has a copy. Unless it wasn't even a photo and was just a still frame shot. It was a fun composition and I had to study it to see how everyone was placed. Funny to see Bernie standing by Kareem, especially with his head out of the picture to emphasis his height. camera_with_flash

Really was thinking about fanatical (and not so fanatical) collectors, investors, and dealers.

Not only is the ‘hunting and gathering’ of autographs of the famous (and, of course, the infamous) a national pastime for some; but, the buying and selling of same is a multimillion dollar business for others.

WORD ON THE STREET...

It was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's idea to take the photo.

A still-frame from 1080p should make a decent "photo"/"portrait." And there's no need to wait for Blu-ray of this season to come out. There are 1080p sources online. I wouldn't even be surprised if that "photo" is already online, in multiple places.

Copies will soon be available at Comic-Cons everywhere grinning

A comment posted under the ("Melissa on the photo") link above...

"CBS writing the big checks to grab as many random celeb cameos as possible before this show's dead in a few months."

That's one way to look at it; but...

Could it be the other way around? Maybe the show has access to the picks of the litter without waving mega bucks around. Since this is the show's last hurrah—‘names’ could be clawing at Team Big Bang’s door just for a chance to be on before it’s all said and done--instead of the other way around?

After all; 20M+ viewers are nothing to sneeze at—no matter how bright your star shines. Then, let’s not forget repeats, the publicity--social media buzz, news media buzz, etc.

Will Wheaton and Kevin Smith both appeared on the show already and this was their last hurrah with it. Joe Manganiello is the type of nerd fav that would have been a pick on for any previous episode. Kareem was just awesome towering over Melisa and my favorite of the group. Shatner could not, not appear, on the show after Leonard Nimoy and George Takei already did. All in all a great episode. Nothing random about any of it.

Was thinking it was only once for Smith—had forgotten all about his previous appearance—had to track it down. Guess after 270ish episodes; there are bound to be some things missed-rememberedthinking, and some things that have gone missing altogetherdizzy_face.

All I can remember off hand is the Kevin Smith podcast episode. I will have to look up his other appearances.

Also, saw a cast photo (entire cast and guests and Kareem's head)--still, rather have the end-of-episode-copy.

In the cast photo, even standing next to Parsons (6'1"), Kaeem towers! Maybe it would seem less so if Rauch (0'0" sunglasses) wasn't standing on the other side?

The season isn't over yet!--although, it would probably just be her and Joe (sorry Penny).

And they were both naked (at first)...

All it would take is some warm water and a couple of sponges grinning
