I been reading other sites, and quite a few posters have commented that when Penny came out of that bathroom and put that "sperm" cup on the counter in front of Leonard, they thought it was going to be a positive pregnancy test.

It’s also what I thought.

Did anyone else think the same thing?

ON A CONTINUING NOTE:

Strange, of the comments I read so far no one has offered a "for" or "against" opinion re: if it had been a positive pregnancy test. However, couple of posters did mention that such a move by the writers would have been too predictable.

It's not completely cut and dried. There are "anti-squatter" rules, for example. So that if the people who assign domains, decide that you just registered a domain in order to profit by selling it - like, your name is Joe Blow and you registered donaldtrump.com - it can be taken from you without requiring a large payment, or perhaps any payment at all.

Right, but thankfully the domains that I own, I am actively producing great content on and update on a monthly basis. If a big conglomerate were to buy me out you and I will celebrate in Hawaii! Cheers!

Leonard's little swimmers may not be any more viable than Zack's.

There seems to be quite a sperm-count-debate among thethinkingthinking thinking about whether there has been a drastic reduction in quality and quantity—and, if so how much.

Saw one story about a 2017 report, based on data collected between 1973-2011, implying that Western men’s sperm count went down about 59% . Of course, as it should be, these types of studies are being thorough “worked over”. However, even with all the controversy surrounding the topic, there doesn’t seem to be any diehards dismissing it as some “sky is falling” nonsense. That is, don’t think the dispute is over what’s true—more like, how true is it.

Anyway…

Whatever the case, hope Zack has a back-up plan.

Howard seems to do okay. grinning

But since he got a vasectomy, they'd have to do some kind of surgical thing to get his.

I think guys today wearing skinny jeans ruins the chances of healthy sperm. No joke studies show loose fitting boxers and pants are for better healthy sperm.

I’ve seen a few reports pointing toward a number of concerns—food additives, food engineering, alcohol, drugs (street and legal), pollution, diet, obesity, stress, etc. But, the one I don’t understand most is the finger pointing toward global warming. How is that’s possible when areas where it is—and has always been—darn near 120-degrees-in-the-shade don’t seem to be as affected?

Maybe it’s just mother nature 'correcting'? Maybe it’s just evolution? Maybe it's just a thing whose time has come?

Very deep bro I think the planet is over populated and in all honesty not everyone should have kids, not everyone is fit to be a parent and not everyone should even get married but this could be a whole other thread on its own.

1) Actually in Australia it is getting hot even for Australia. Bats are falling out of the sky and the asphalt is melting. All those Road Warrior movies are coming true

2) The earth is going to do what the earth is going to do. It doesn't need us and we need to do a whole lot more to kill it but the earth doesn't need to do much to get rid of us.

If the Earth was making any sense about population, the places with dropping birth rates would be those where they already can't feed the people that have already been born.

The earth doesn't care what we do and all the windmills in the world won't change a thing. People in overpopulated areas will just live on top of each other like they have always done. Brought to mind a Star Trek OS episode where the ship finds a planet where there is no room left. I don't recall much more than that but it'll come to me.

Maybe so, but my point was, if the Earth is somehow exercising population control and is responsible for declining birth-rates in advanced cultures more than capable of feeding and clothing them etc, whereas parts where people are already starving continue to have high birth rates, then the Earth is pretty screwed up.

Also does anyone know what Penny's ex Zack's company was? I totally missed or forgot what his company was? Was it a realistic success story or something just plain silly?

I forgot an important factor that could have made it a "realistic success" that has nothing to do with size of their business or their clientele—Location!

Maybe the purchaser didn't buy it for the business itself, but for its location.

Amazon is set to bring a new headquarters (HQ2) to Long Island City, NY. I’m not exactly sure of the new site; but even a storefront business owner lucky enough to be within that location would stand to make a group upon selling!

Well, just to close the loop...

"There is no joy in Mudville"...The Mighty Amazon has backed out.

To paraphrase one of the many speaking_head dissecting Amazon’s ‘180’: It's like winning the lottery then losing your ticket. sob

Maybe it's because people like Alexandria Ocasia-Cortez were dreaming about how much they could be taxed?

Companies like Amazon don't make their billions by paying taxes. Yet all these cities are offering enormous loopholes that they wouldn't dream of giving to anyone else.

Loopholes to start with, but what about later? Amazon wouldn't be setting up a big warehouse/distribution center just for short term.

Also, NY has bigger problems overall. Even Gov Cuomo has admitted that something like 1,000 people/families in the whole state, pay almost half of all the state taxes. Those people already seem to be leaving on a fairly regular basis. Enough so that the whole state's revenue picture is in jeopardy.
