Always glad (and very surprised) to see Newhart; but have to take issue with Professor Proton's advice to Sheldon about not going to bed angry. It’s not humanly possible not to go to bed angry sometimes—even if you have to go to separate beds (neutural corners?)! No doubt, even ‘Job’ had nights when Mrs. Job plucked his nerves.

Anyone here who can say they have never gone to bed angry with the person sleeping next to them--without this happeninglying_face, please raise your hand. smiling_imp

Well, I thought their use of Professor Proton this time was rather pointless, especially for the little time at the very end of the episode. And since they re-emphasized that it's really just Sheldon talking to himself. As for the rest... eh.

Gotta say though Bob Newhart looked very healthy and rested compared to last time

The deli was a good place for him, I would have liked to see an alien in the next booth.

Maybe next time Sheldon dreams, it will be the Cantina. But then they'd be on Tatooine, not Dagobah. And I'm sure Sheldon hates that music. 'cuz, you know, it's no Imperial March.

The movie pokes massive fun at my favorite genre--and I love every moment of it.

Been a "Candy" fan since I saw Uncle Buck - was born a "Brooks" fan.

Too bad there's no videos on youtube or elsewhere, of the "Human Restaurant" scene from Galaxina.

Also, John Candy's best work was probably on SCTV.

Don’t remember him looking any worst for wear the last time he appeared—but, it’s been a minute.

Still, although he has not lived Betty-White-years; he is no spring chicken either. Think there was some deliberateness that went into staging his scene so that he would get to sit the entire time.

also he does all his shots from his home by remote

Professor Proton had the best line of the episode...

"Rule number two of marriage: If you don't recognize the shoes under your bed... they're not your shoes."
