Saw this online. It’s someone’s list of the Top 4 Reasons for the show being cancelled. (Yes, I know there are five--but, I'm just the messenger .)
4) It had nowhere left to go.
3) It was in decline (11% in 18-49 demographic) and it’s super expensive to make.
2) It does not need new episodes to make money (international syndication/merchandising/licensing/DVDs, etc.
1) Parsons wants to leave.
Any thoughts?
ON ANOTHER NOTE:
Why do these
keep saying the show was cancelled. It wasn't cancelled; it chose to end--there is a difference. It could continue if it wanted to do so; there is still a market for it; it has sky high ratings; it has advertisers that are raring to go; and it has loyal, adoring fans wishing for more!
Cancelled = getting kicked out! Deciding to end = leaving of your own accord!

Yeah.
No doubt that fell under "things considered".

Yeah!
Think sometimes folks forget that it’s the fans who ultimately decide who is the star of a show. A Breakout will overshadow billing, writers/producers intentions, and even the star/drawing-power of another, more seasoned player.
