"She can get into any restaurant, but the best husband she can find is Raj?"

That was great.

And the "re-imagined flashbacks" were well done.

That part actually made me cry a little bit. I wasn't expecting that. It doesn't bode well for how I'll do during the finale.

This show symbolizes more than other shows do for me, since the message board (especially the old one) has been a part of it.

The flashback were fun. If Sheldon and Tam were roommates that would save Leonard years of being pushed around by Sheldon. Then Shedon wouldn't have Howard, Raj or Amy and even Penny. I don't see Tam as wanting to desperately hook up with her like Lenny did. I am fine with Anu if that means the end of Rajs constant girlfriend attempts. I don't see Anu as Bestie status however. It would dissapoint Rajs dad if he were to turn down his arranged marriage selection. Rajs father might just tell Raj to leave him alone as well.

I did like how the girls took to her and tried to get to know her (even if just to dig up dirt on her). My mind is totally blank now, but it does seem like one of the guys once had a girlfriend that Penny considered a rival and I didn't like that. I hope they'll be welcoming to Anu (if the writers keep her around).

Was it the hot girl who moved upstairs and the guys were tripping over themselves to impress her ? Raj's sister too. Then Leonard was jealous of every guy who took Penny out on a date or even visited her.

I remember Penny not liking the hot girl upstairs and Priya, but it seems like there was another girlfriend, maybe one of Raj's- was it Emily?- that she seemed to have some past grudge against.

The gals didn't like Deaf Emily but that was because she was taking advantage of Raj. Now Ramona didn't like Penny much. Who was the whore of Omaha ?

For one reason or another (though sometimes justified), there has been a lot of cattiness on the show between the main girls (mostly Penny) and some of the girlfriends. I hope they'll continue being nice to Anu.

I'm not a big fan of cattiness and that's one reason I have almost as many male friends as girlfriends. I can't take the drama and moodiness.

They will as long as she can get them into all the trendy spots. Anu is Alright but Raj really wants that romantic special one. But if he did find an overly romantic girl she might freak him out by showing him how he looks when he is being overly romantic. Is Anu and Raj a case of opposite attract ?

I don't think we've seen Anu and Raj together enough yet to know. I'm not crazy about hearing that she's not credited in the next 2 episodes, though. They'll lose momentum on this story if they keep her gone too long. I did read in an article somewhere about a week ago that a writer claimed this story would arc throughout the season. We'll see...

"Red-headed Emily" (but not the deaf one) and Penny did have a clash when Emily found that that Penny and Raj ALMOST "did it." But that was never really developed.

That was where they had the sorta "split-screen" effect - done by the wall of the set - where Penny and Emily are on either side of the apartment door, saying (more or less) "I don't like her."

Not so sure about that. True, he got married about the same time Sheldon moved to California, but had he come out with him, it would be in a world in which he hadn't married. And Tam was a frustrated skirt chaser wannabe in High School on "Young Sheldon."

Remember the smart girl who soured Sheldon on the field of Geology when she saw him as a child rather than solely as a peer? Tam was after her big time and she shot him down in flames.

I see your point. Tam would then be after Penny just like Leonard only withough Leonards neurosis.

But then Tam would win Penny, and much quicker than Leonard did, they'd get married and move away, and Sheldon would still be "abandoned." I guess he just didn't project his "flashback" that far forward.

If Tam and Sheldon did move in together Tam might end up writing "Die Sheldon Die" on the wall just as Sheldons pre-Leonard roomaate did. Knowing Sheldon is one thing , Living with him is another.

Very likely, indeed. So in that sense, Sheldon's life wouldn't change at all. As usual, he just cruises along, not realizing - or caring about - the damage he does.
