Discuss The Big Bang Theory

I'm guessing most of the big names like Simon and Jim will go into theater. Kaley I could see just booking commercials and doing hosting/ guest appearances.

The smaller names are most likely going to keep doing bit parts elsewhere. How's John Ross Bowie's show going, FKA?

I don't see any of them doing anything major. Even the bigger names. The smaller names, the guests and bit players, will continue guesting and bit playing. This will also be the last we hear from Wheaton. I don't even see any of them going into theatre. There are so many venues or platforms and so much competition from actors in all those shows. Is Kaley going to follow in the footsteps of Jen Aniston and go into romcom territory? I don't know about John Ross Bowies show or even if it is still on. Honestly none of these names on a marquee or credit scroll entice me much.

I only started watching TBBT because Kaley was so good in the last season of Charmed. I might see shows/movies she's in later, to see if she keeps it up. But I have little or no interest in the others, especially Jim.

Hasn't John Ross Bowie's show been renewed for another season? Seems like it has. And it's still being shown in summer repeats which usually doesn't happen if a show has been cancelled.

Basically what Z said up there. arrow_up My sentiments exactly.

Kaley in a romcom , I definitely don't want to see her go that direction.

I think she should just become a fitness guru /model since she's so active on Instagram. I did a post about that on the old board.

CQ has a point. We can assume that they might stay in entertainment but they could just as well go in some other direction.

Especially considering her new husband, Kaley might opt for some kind of horse ranching thing. Perhaps horse therapy programs, like my niece and her husband do for disabled/challenged children, veterans, and others.

John Ross Bowie's show 'Speechless' has been renewed. It is very good. You all should give it a try.

I have watched 3 or 4 episodes. It is good and better than the other shows on that days/stations lineup. As for Kaley doing Horse ranching she was "sitting pretty" in that hemmoroids commercial racehorse

Not true--not even if he died!

Parsons is already well-known on Broadway.

Helberg has an Academy Award nomination under his belt--and is a gifted musician.

Kaley could easily score another sitcom. After all, she came to TBBT after a sitcom. While the rom-com route may be a possibility--I wouldn't put that kind of limitation on her career--or anyone else's.

The same goes for Nayyar, Bialik, Rauch, or Sussman.

Also, actors have been known to successfully transition from comedy to drama. Don't see why any of the above couldn't do the same.

Anyway...

No matter what, I don't doubt there will be plenty of offers (at least at first). Whether these offers continues will depend on how well each actor delivers post-Big Bang.

Wheaton will never die, heck he has his own tag on Fark.

Plus if anything he will live in the meme 'Hall of Fame' for this picture:

Didn't read any of the thumbsup_tone1 thumbsdown_tone1 comments from fans, et. al. about that infamous(?) choice (?). eyes

But love the comment from Wheaton when some people complained about him leaving the festivities early. (not a quote) He said that he was totally exhausted; and that not only had he been on his feet for about 20 hours, but that 'Entertaining-People time' is like eight hours regular time. laughing

In thinking about this more, one of the reasons that Z's words above resonated with me is that, if I'm honest, I've become rather saturated with this show and its actors. My answer was based more on my own personal viewpoint than what might actually happen. So what I think might actually happen is:

Johnny- Will go on to spending more time on the Roseanne revival (whatever it's called now that she won't be on it)
Jim- Will go on to focusing on Young Sheldon and other behind the camera roles. Young Sheldon has given him a taste of that and he likes it.
Kaley- Will go on either to another sitcom, romantic comedies, or horror flicks.
Simon, Kunal, Melissa, Mayim- no clue
Other bit part actors (to answer the OP's question)- Future bit parts and commercials

I agree with Lemons agreeing with me. I am tired of all of them. It is possible that any of them will turn up now and then but none of them excite me.

As for Wheaton...
