Kaley could easily score another sitcom. After all, she came to TBBT after a sitcom. While the rom-com route may be a possibility--I wouldn't put that kind of limitation on her career--or anyone else's.

But not directly. There was that last season of Charmed between 8 Simple Rules and TBBT. And it was her year on Charmed that got me to watch TBBT. I never saw 8 Simple Rules because I wasn't a fan of John Ritter.

Also, actors have been known to successfully transition from comedy to drama. Don't see why any of the above couldn't do the same.

It worked for Kaley, not sure how well the others could do at it.
