Let's change up the format as well. Instead of posting a song per day just post what you've been listening to recently and we'll discuss.
Deftones is my favorite band and I've been re- listening to all their albums with my roomie this summer.

This is perhaps the best version of this tune. I don't care what political view you hold, this song hits home. Or it should.

Earth, Wind & Fire’s sounds like there is a party going on—Swift’s sounds like a drunken lament. Maybe a version with Swift shaking her grove thing would be more engaging?

Well it wouldn't hurt matters, though I'm not sure how much it would help. I'm not a huge fan of what seems to be a popular current singing style. I call it the "breathy slurred grunt".
