That may have been the best single line, but performance-wise I thought "verklempt" Mark Hamill was the best. Too bad they didn't fit in a "talk amongst yourselves" somehow.

His delivery was EVERYTHING though. Mark Hamill deserves the award for best BBT guest star.

Not that I don't enjoy seeing "Newhart"; but let's hope that with a breakthrough in his field and the marriage to the love of his life Sheldon will no longer need the wise counsel of Prof. Proton.
