1.My interpretation of the Penny / Raj feud is that both were partially in the wrong. Penny deserved SOME credit for seeing the Comet first so Raj was wrong for trying to dismiss her part in it. She's wrong for only wanting credit for credit's sake and not actually caring about Astronomy.

2: Nice to see Stuart's business is thriving but he should have realized 10 seasons ago like EVERY other company /business/ brick and mortar store in the world that a social media presence would help sales.

3: Penny needs to realize how delicate "credit " in the science community is. Some scientist's work isn't recognized or truly respected until long after their death (Gregor Mendel). Some scientists work together on a huge breakthrough and then only one becomes famous and receives credit. Sometimes scientists borrow ideas from other scientists and then publish them as their own (Watson and Crick did it to some of their colleagues when they came up with the double helix model for DNA) 4: The actress who plays Denise in character is eerily similar to Riki Lindhome, mannerisms and all . Out of character she's JUST like Chelsea Paretti. Watch her interviews and you'll notice.

5:I thought Amy was going to go crazy psycho jealous girlfriend on Denise, but she just wanted advice on how to engage Sheldon's interests. That was great misdirection by the writers.

6: If Stuart never has kids, Haley should be the rightful heir to his comic book empire, if current trends continue.

If A Monkey Takes A Photo, Who Owns The Copyright?

I'm assuming you're joking but it's obvious an animal doesn't have rights in this situation. Raj's monkey argument is the classic " False equivalence."

Anyone who saw/remembers the end of "The Proposal Proposal" wouldn't have thought that.

One would think! Yet, the issued ended up being decided in federal court--when PETA sued the photographer on behalf of the monkey. rofl

Now I'm thinking ...

Isn't Howard already part owner? Wouldn't he have inherited partial ownership as part of his mom's estate?

Yes, great to finally have an episode with him where he doesn't suck the air out of the room. Also, having a celebrity endorsement--a definite plus. And, not having to shelve out a single heavy_dollar_sign for said celebrity endorsement--a definite plus-plus!

Didn't Debbie just give Stuart the money to re-open the store ? It was first brought up in "The Comic Book Store Regeneration". As well as some of the furniture. I doubt that any of them would want the store . Certainly Bernie wouldn't want Haley to be burdened with it.

Sounds more like a typical PETA publicity stunt then an actual exercise in legal responsibility.

PETA is the Westboro Baptist Church of Animal rights groups.

A quote from a PETA representative after the decision was handed down:

"This case is also exposing the hypocrisy of those who exploit animals for their own gain."

Talking about the-Pot-calling-the-Kettle!

At least the ASPCA doesn't seem to have gone off the deep end into crazy. Yet.

I am sure Stuart was on social media the whole time, well at least had a Twitter/FB account. It is just that it took a Neil Gaiman to get him attention and followers in the mid double digits smile Somehow I think the new batch of trend following customers will only last until they find another tweet to follow, or when Neil Gaiman finds another shop and tweets about that, or when they realize that they don't even know what he looks like as he there right in the middle of the store. Also when they buy up all the prime merch Stuart has accumulated over the years and as long as the pleasant Denise works there.

As much as I like Denise I would frown on her becoming "girlfriend" material for Stuart or Raj girl_tone2 frowning

I miss the old style nerds who used to go to the shop as well.

Time to dust off the Captain Sweatpants signal and shine it up at the clouds?

Yes time to call on the entire New Nerd Justice League with Captain Sweatpants, Lonely Larry, Dale and Lucy and save the old store.
