Discuss The Big Bang Theory

1) The gang all took off to grab a Pastrami sandwich from the food truck. What is your favorite sandwich ?

2) On another topic I don't know what the ancient Chinese called a sandwich but I think of a sandwich as using sliced bread to contain the ingredients, and don't picture ancient chinese with sliced bread. The Chinese food that Sheldon was eating looked like MooShu pork which uses tortilla like "mooshu pancakes" to contain the ingredients. Sheldon was having what might be called a "wrap".
Am I right or just Sheldony here? bread or burrito taco

  • I myself like a properly made Corned beef sandwich.

I like many different sandwiches but my absolute favorite is a BLT with EXTRA BACON ( I would eat one everyday if I could afford the bacon.!

BACON, toasted sourdough bread (sometimes a dark rye), mayo (sometimes blue cheese dressing), nice thick slices of tomato, thinly sliced red onion, & a couple leaves of romaine .

Here is an article about the Chinese sandwich called Roujiamo:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roujiamo

There are some restaurants with a "double decker BLT" that you may want to try. I think both IHOP and Village Inn have them, among others.

Thanks Knixon, but I prefer to make my own (although the BLT in the picture looks good). I don't eat out much mainly because I'm so picky about what I eat & you can never be sure about the cleanliness of the staff & the restaurant. I have a few places I will eat but I never eat at fast food places.

Or where they get their tomato tomato tomato tomato tomato from. fearful

Where?

Did you see last night's episode?

Yes, but I had forgotten about the tomato part. Old brain.

Raj: "Did you see his vegetable garden? Heirloom tomatoes in April. Creepy."

Sheldon has certainly changed. (Well done, Amy rolling_eyes ). In the past he would have said:

"Oh, the thing about tomatoes, and I think you'll really enjoy this, is they're shelved with the vegetables, but they're technically a fruit."

And then added: "So, this is not a vegetable, but a fruit garden."

Raj (while chomping down on a large, juicy tomato): “Oh my God, this tomahto is amazing! I can eat it like an apple.”

Dr. Wolcott: “My secret is I fertilize it with my own manure.”
