Kind of a humdrum episode to me. Young Sheldon was much better as usual.
1) Funny how it was not mentioned how Sheldon was once punched by Bill Gates https://youtu.be/SAVpDZOgjt4
2) Bernies line about the Dr. Suess book "Hop on Pop" reminded me of a discussion here that veered off into Dr. Suess book titles. I don't think they picked that up here but it would have been cool if they did.
3) Amy and Bernie bonding was different and not too bad.
4) Bill Gates deserved better than to be snot upon by Leonard. Woz and Smoot were given better material. Too bad Bill wasn't.
5) Trying to think of something else to say
6) Still trying....
7) So did Penny succeed in doing whatever she was supposed to do with Gates ?

Too bad that there isn't video of that! I would pay good money for it & I would play it on a loop!

I agree with you, it was an underwhelming episode. And they never actually SHOWED Penny interacting with Bill Gates, so what was the purpose of her hosting him?
Perfect example of cameo for the sake of cameo. Gates excitation? More like Gates hibernation. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

My head wants to agree--BUT, my heart can find no fault.
The IMPORTANT THING is that he was on. I call that a stellar night for the inhabitants of Nerdville—plus something else to cross of their Big Bang Bucket List!
Now…
…if only "Bill Shatner" would come around!

Considering all the running around Sheldon did in his eagerness to connect with "Gates", guess a punch isn’t as powerful a deterrent as a Restraining Order.
