Not at all shocked that Amy only wants two kids. Very shocked that Sheldon wants a small army! I would think that Sheldon had his heart set on pouring ALL his Sheldoness into one bright shining superstar.
In addition to money for renting a uterus, Sheldon has something else to think about…
The estimated average cost to raise a kid…$234K-$334K! (Quite a big difference; but, it’s no surprise that parents who make more, spend more on their kid(s).
I don’t think Aquaman’s bottom is going to be anywhere near big enough to fit Sheldon’s needs.
Anyway, when it comes to wanting kids, Sheldon and Amy’s numbers were miles apart, AND surprised each other.
So, at what point do/should couples discuss this important number detail?
Couples. Engagees. Married Folks. What say you?

All I could think of when I heard that was, look how Mayim looks after having just a couple kids. If she had 15, she might be just a lump of some kind of jelly on the floor.

Looks as if she has packed-on-a-few since the earlier days. No doubt some of it's wardrobe; but some of it is also her.
I haven't seen any off-the-set pictures of her for a while--she always look so much better AND THINNER than she does on the show.

Here's a picture from December of last year.

I think that's something a couple should discuss before they wed so they're on the same page about starting a family and how many kids they're aiming for.
I'm currently in that dilemma since he wants TWO and I'm terrified of having ONE.

We thought that one right (2) after the other would be better for them, but after birthing the first one I said NEVER AGAIN!

Thanks.
A little heavier--but, nowhere near the hipster she appears on the show.

How bad was the pain?

Let me say this first, everybody's experience is different.
But for me it was horrible. It didn't help that I just couldn't relax, the pain was so bad. I was in early labor a few days before I went to the hospital, I finally went to the hospital when my water broke. It then took over 24 hours (12 of it was hard labor) before she was born, they couldn't give me anything major or else it would slow down the labor. I decided never to go through that again. But like I said everybody is different.

My browser (which started about a month ago) is interfering with the way emojis show up, so all I see are empty little boxes. What emoji did you use?

Should be ashamed--I know--but, when I read that my thoughts immediately went to "Bill Murray" in the dentist office in the movie Little Shop of Horrors.
Little Shop of Horrors - Dentist Scene
Must admit--"out of context", it does sound like one of those "What are you wearing"? type questions. Also, read the question and had my --LSOH flash BEFORE I read the username of the person asking--so that should count for something.)

I would think a discussion of that sort would happen naturally as a relationship progresses. But, anytime before walking down the aisle is essential! Sheldon's number is unreasonable and I think he knows it. If he truly expected Amy to pop out 15 kids, they'd need to get started right now! And unless several births were twins/triplets, it still wouldn't happen.
I knew from the age of 17 that I did not want children. I dated a guy when I was in my early 30's who absolutely wanted them, so we stopped dating after a couple of months because we were clearly not on the same page as far as life goals.
With my husband, he was neutral - he had no burning desire to be a father, the only thing he would've liked to have done was carry on his father's name, as he is the only son. But for the most part his attitude was if it happened or not, whatever. I knew it definitely was NOT going to happen, and he is fine with that, lol.

Same dilemma. I can compromise on 1 child but there's a snowball's chance in hell he's getting TWO outta me.
