Discuss The Big Bang Theory

A story came across my news feed the other day I couldn't help but put some thought into this. The story is about Dane Cook and his 19 year old singer girlfriend. https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/dane-cook-45-gushes-over-19-year-old-girlfriend-kelsi-taylor/

I also saw a story on the news that Pamela Anderson is dating some 32 year old soccer player from France.

So my question is, do you think older people dating so young is odd or this a developing trend ? I mean..I know the young lady Dane Cook is with is technically an adult but She's just BARELY legal . I don't understand how a man of 45 could be comfortably dating someone who probably just graduated High school. And Pamela Anderson who has to be pushing 50 if not older is dating someone almost two decades her junior.

All power to them , but what exactly could these couples have in common?

Thoughts?

I actually find men older than myself very attractive- always have, though I think for me I'd limit it to within 15 years. There is something very sexy about being with a (somewhat) older man.

Hi there.....

Tim, I don't think I could stop giggling long enough if we got together to hanky any panky. You would have to become decidedly less funny. Just those two words above had me shaking so hard it caused inquiries by those around me.

"Hanky " perhaps, "Panky" I think not.

As far as your injuries, I've had medical training, trust me.

Really? I thought he said it like Freddie "Boom Boom" Washington from 'Welcome Back, Kotter."

If you think of it like that, maybe you'll be less.... shaky. grinning

That's exactly how I pictured him saying it.

OOh, Lemons likes her a (probably) teenage high-school dropout... Um, how does that correlate to older men?

I think I'd actually prefer the panky part. Hanky sounds like a nickname for something you'd blow your nose on.

A poem for you:

Knixon.

You're fixin'

To get sat in the corner.

Your words, not mine

Just trying to prove you're not the only one who knows how to do the steamy talk.

So....a little Elvis? maybe some John Lennon? a little James Dean? How old are we talkin' I think I can maybe do early Frank Sinatra. But I'd have to stretch first.

"Rooty-Toot-Toot! And the cats pajamas!

Nobody puts Knixy in the corner!

I read somewhere, a long while back, that women reach their sexual peak in their mid-30's where as men reach theirs in their late teens/early 20's. It seems to me that an older/younger combination could make sense. The older partner helping the younger one reach maturity. It's got to be better than two teenagers trying to figure it out behind the bleachers or an old guy taking drugs to be ready.

In the interest of science, I'd be willing to give it a try.

That's an old myth that won't die. Women are at sexual peak during the most fertile years ,18-24.

So I guess this is right out of the picture:

You know, we really shouldn't just be focusing on age differences in this thread, but also human-alien dating. I'm really not sure why Arctic Fox forgot to mention that to begin with. I mean, I bet there are as many women out there attracted to head tentacles as to older or younger men.

To Arctic Fox: yellow_heart

That makes more sense to me, and certainly jibes with my personal experience. I was still well in the game in my mid-30s, but nothing can compare to the sex drive of a horny teenager, of either sex!

Let's hear it for the very start of the very first episode of "The Orville."

That's Rob Lowe in blue, by the way. And he turns up again later.

I draw the line at men who squirt out of their foreheads.
