1.Could Sheldon's rental of his old bedroom be the writers' way of edging him back into that apartment for good?

2.Show of hands: How many think it makes more sense for Penny and Leonard to live in Penny's apartment...because it's her apartment? I think we can consider Sheldon and Amy's "living together experiment" over and a success.

3.If Sheldon does not live in his old apartment, is his spot still enforced?

  1. Please not that. Amy won't let it happen anyways.

  2. hand_splayed_tone1 hand_splayed_tone2 raising_hand raised_hands_tone1

  3. He probably did not include that in the roommate agreement. Sheldon needs a Spot agreement.

  1. I should have clarified that if Sheldon moves back into his old apartment, he would take Amy with him.

2.Typing stuff next to "2" because the website won't let me skip from 1 to 3 otherwise. It's all a plot against me.

3.Your answer is spot on.

I mean to say that Amy wants to stay with Sheldon where they are. All their stuff is there.

But you see, Z (that also sounds Seussian), Penny's stuff is still in her old apartment. Her decor, her dishes, etc. It implies she'll be back.

I think the two couples should trade places.

Why didn't just tell Sheldon to move into her old apartment with her ?

I think Sheldon wanted the experiment to be carried out on neutral ground. But it's time for the experiment to be over. Sheldon and Amy need to be in his old bedroom with his comic books and his day-of-the-week underpants.

"Sheldon and his day-of-the-week underpants" would make for a good book title. I will get to work on it. Also "Sheldon and his Super-Hero shirt of the day". Better yet a calendar.

Also, when they talked about how they could move to a different place, like in Altadena, or someplace that doesn't even end in -dena, Sheldon also mentioned Amy's apartment, then when Amy said "Sure, we could live in my apartment" Sheldon said "I hate your apartment. " To which Amy responded "Sorry YOU brought it up."

But what it amounts to is, Sheldon hates Amy's apartment. Who knows why? Maybe because her neuroscientist tricks with strawberry Quick, Mario Bros music, and spaghetti with pieces of hot dog cut up into it.... WORKED?

  1. Probably, I'm beginning to not trust writers.

2.I think Penney and Leonard should get a house. The comedy would continue, look at Howard and Bernadette.

  1. They should move the couch three feet to the right. ( No Sheldon, THAT is your spot.)

Have I ever mentioned that it is high time for Sheldons uppance to come?

We-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-elllllll... look whose boat just pulled back into my port! Last our paths crossed, you promised me your heart, only to vanish the next day.

Still I like your idea of moving the sofa to cause an explosion in Sheldon's brain. I mean, if they moved it, where WOULD his spot be? Would he be loyal to the same location in the room, or the same cushion? Hopefully more loyal than you were to me after your last profession of organ donation-related love.

It's quite possible that nobody really wants a serious answer, but the reason it was Sheldon's spot was because of its position within the room: including cross-room ventilation, etc. Those factors would be related to that position within the room, not that cushion on the sofa. If a different cushion on the couch was now in that position within the room, then his spot would become that different cushion. Although being Sheldon, he might insist on moving the old cushion to the new position. If the couch is no longer within the range of the spot, then presumably he would set up a lawn chair or something, so that he would be in the same position within the room.

Do you have a spot in your house Knixon? I do.

Sheldon also found himself a spot in Penny's apartment. https://youtu.be/I2C5H9c826M

He also finds the perfect spot in the movie theater. https://youtu.be/_6XVJ_eaKLY

He just needs to find an appropriate spot where ever he goes.

And I shall posit the same question to you Z. Do you have a spot in your home?

No I do not have a spot. Because unlike Sheldon I am not Professor Wackadoodle.
