On another thread a certain poster, and he knows who he is and so do you, said in another context:
"The rest sounds a lot like Sheldon claiming the Empire are really the good guys in Star Wars, or Barney Stinson claiming that Karate Kid was really about that pesky kid Daniel-san getting in the way of Johnny Lawrence's well-deserved rise to fame and success."
This brought to mind something I have been thinking of, the weird world of fan theories. It seems like every popular show or movie has one, even TBBT. And Reddit is the home for them. For example 1) In the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", Ferris is not real but merely Cameron's imaginary friend. 2) Jar Jar Binks is either a powerful Jedi or a Sith or both. 3) The Jetsons and The Flintstones occupy the same time period, a catyclysmic event takes earth back to the stone age where The Flintstones live while others like The Jetsons fled to Orbit City in outer space.
Anyways do you have any fan theories of your own or subscribe to any popular ones ?
Here is Jim Parsons on them https://youtu.be/Mn2XdOCOmc4 Here is another BBT theory that is even wilder https://moviepilot.com/posts/3531266

Well, in the Jetsons episodes I've seen, they're not living in space, their home thing is on "poles" anchored to Earth. As are most other things including the Spacely Sprockets factory, for example. There was one episode in particular where I remember they were complaining about the bad weather, then George or someone pushed a button and their "house" raised up until it was above the cloudes. But they were Earth clouds, not space clouds.

So what you are saying is that I am not to believe random people on YouTube, Reddit, fan theory wikis and cracked.com for my information sources ? As Sheldon once said on whether we are lilving in The Matrix "The food would be better". Well I know who to turn to for my televisual minutia.

It might be easier to just watch some of it yourself. I don't think it takes very long to realize that the Jetsons themselves, at least, are not living in space. Some of the places they go to, such as Judy's and Elroy's schools, might not be based on/fastened to Earth, and I remember a "drive-in" burger joint that was basically just floating in space too. But their home and many other places were riding above Earth on those pylon things that could apparently be raised and lowered at will. Which also explains why they didn't need space suits to go outside and walk the dog etc.

Zneny you read waaaaaaaaaaay too much Cracked.com!
There's a theory that "The One" in the Matrix is actually agent Smith, not Neo. They are exact opposites who cancel each other out , and they had to clash to bring about ultimate balance.
Smith was a rougue program who sought out Neo, not the other way around, so many believe he's the real " One" who was destined to bring balance and Neo is really just the beneficiary of circumstance.
Also Tom Cruise is really two small border Collies in a tall coat.
We've never seen Tom Cruise and two border Collies in the same room have we?
Mmhhhhhmmm I smell a conspiracy.

I don't know of any fan theories as you have described them, but I do theorize that a ceiling fan will provide a more effective cool-down for a room than a hand-held paper fan. However, these fans are more pleasant to watch than a ceiling fan.

Don't tell anyone but Dennis Kim is The One.

But screw him, he was weak!
Actually Zathras told us, Sinclair/Valen is The One who WAS, Delenn is The One who IS, and Sheridan is The One who Will Be.

I don't know what that means and know that I would probably have to take both the red and blue pills together to find out. Is all that from the third Matrix movie, the one that confused Sheldon to no end ?

I don't know what "The One" is because I never watched the Matrix, but I do know that in addition to being weak, Dennis Kim picked his ear wax in public settings.

You should, it's an all time great series with a really good animated prequal that explains the origins.

Actually, it's nothing at al to do with The Matrix. But, don't let Sheldon catch you watching this!

Some more weirdness, for those so inclined to watch. By all means, see the entire series!

Note that there are some spelling and grammatical errors in the "subtitles." For example, "core" should be "Corps." As in "Psi Corps" which is a common reference in the show.

Hi Knixon. Because there is no PM function, I'm going to put this here. I wanted to take a moment to apologize to you for our exchange a few days ago about Sheldon and his importance in the cast. I don't come on here to argue, and I should have stopped after my initial (and jovial) post to you. I'm sorry if I came across as rude (because I know I did), and I'm not going to delete any of it, because I'm going to own my behavior. It's OK to debate, but I was rude and I'm sorry, and it has been bothering me.
