Raj is going to get involved with a married woman played by one of my favs: Beth Behrs from 2 Broke Girls.
Her husband ( played by Walter Goggins)is going to track Raj down and hopefully put him out of his misery.

That sounds awful. And I bet it will be.

Many of these married-person-affair type stories seem to leave out the true areas of responsibility. Would Raj be blamed for the married person cheating even if HE didn't know she was married? But SHE obviously does. Perhaps in real life as well as television, it's easier - and less painful - for the cheated-on spouse to blame the outside person rather than their partner. But that doesn't make it right or fair.
One of the more unfair examples I saw of that was in the very excellent but short-lived Pan Am. In the very first episode, one of the stewardess ladies is delighted to discover that the man she had a torrid fling with in... Paris, I think it was... is now on her flight to London, so she's all excited about doing it again. THEN she finds out he's married. Near the end of the episode, we see that the wife knew/found out about it, and she blames the stewardess who just quietly accepts it. I think it would have been more appropriate if she had said to the wife, "I didn't know he was married. But HE did."
Actually I'd have been even happier if she started with "Stuff it, lady."

Jan 18th is when it premieres. Beth on BBT is something I always wanted. Keep an open mind, you might love the episode :p

A personal favorite from the TV show: "Justified".
Looking forward to the episode.

Just can't get behind this one. It's another relationship that will clearly end badly for Raj. Hope it's a background part of the episode. (It's no offense to the actress. I don't know anything about her.)

It might be good. At least they're using Beth, not trying to bring on Kat Dennings (Max) or worse yet Jennifer Coolidge (Sophie) and pretend that either of them is supposed to be the sexiest thing on two legs, like they constantly did on Two Broke Girls.

Nothing wrong with Beth. One more "Raj gets a girl/ Raj loses a girl" episode is one too many. That is all the show wants to do with Raj. Plus Beth and Raj don't work for me. Just get him back with the last one , the grad student coffee date and get this done with.
I don't know if you ever saw this movie but both Beth and Max Greenfield are in it. I thought it was pretty lame but not too bad. My Name is Doris - 2015

Beth and MAX FREAKIN GREENFIELD in the same movie? I Don't think my heart could handle that, Zeny.

Kat Dennings is hot hot hot, but her voice on 2 Broke Girls could really grate. Beth Behrs is beautiful, but again, her voice on the show, OY. Awful. Sophie was just a caricature. The show had a few moments, I still don't know how it lasted as long as it did.

I think the chemistry of the leads kept it going, apparently Kat and Beth are best friends in real life, Two RICH girls after 6 seasons .

They are. The only two people I think have more natural chemistry on screen than them are Anna Faris and Allison Janney on Mom.

But can you handle a make out scene with Max and Sally Field ? That might be in there. Anyways your assignment is to watch "My Name is Doris" with your roomie and report back with a capsule review. Schmidt has a decent sized role and Caroline plays a hipster. Sally Field's character reminds me of what Lemons might be like or at least dress like.

Looking forward to tonight's episode; more so because of "Goggins". But, it brought up a
or two or three...
Has there been a decidedly lack of guest stars this season? Or, are some seasons just usually drier than others.
Are folks simply not "lining up" to be on the show any more?
Or, have all those guest-star
gone toward cast-cost?
