Will she still even have a job? Maybe she ends up suing for discrimination and ends up a millionaire. (Then all the people who think parents shouldn't get any special allowances can be happy they aren't having to do extra work, and Bernadette will just be... rich.)
Will she still have the office? Perhaps Ruchi has taken it over, although that seems a bit much since she just got there. But Bernadette might find it difficult getting to her desk because of all the boxes of files and office supplies and stuff that have been "stored" in there during her absence.
Or her "office" might have been moved to a small closet somewhere.

Well now hold your horses Kernixon. She's ain't had the baby yet. But she'll go back. It's possible there could be some initial ruckus when she returns, though I doubt it will have anything to do with Ruchi. I've think we've done said our Nah-Nah-Nah-Nahs, Hey-Hey-Heys and Goodbyes to her. But some form of ruckus could bring out Bernadette's classic claws.

Don't think "Tiny Terror" will have any trouble re-establishing herself after she returns from leave. We have seen many times that she is not the kind of person to take ANY affront lying down.
ON ANOTHER NOTE:
Wonder why the writers chose to keep her bedridden...
Any theories?

I wondered if she's on bed rest in reality, or at least is being extra careful. I think the actress has had at least one miscarriage.
EDIT: I see that Melissa's baby has been born. Still, she may have been on bed rest towards the end and it doesn't make sense to start Bernie on bed rest and then take her off.

Could be.
Thinking only of the finish product we see on screen (18-21 minutes); but, no doubt, the reality is that it takes a couple-of-few hours of work to bring it about.
Also, unless it's a very physical sitcom ("Kevin Can Wait"); it looks so effortless that it’s kind of hard to think of them having to break a sweat to get ‘er done.

She'll have the same job, it'll just be a difficult smoothly transitioning back into work when she's been sidelined for so long.
They're being careful with her because Melissa had a miscarriage before.

Now that I think about it, there have been at least two (maybe three?) episodes this season where she was voice-only.
When it comes to returning to work; doubt there will be any problems...

Or she comes back and finds out that some folks didn't even notice that she was away.

I don't think there's any chance of people forgetting Bernie or not realizing she was away!

I would just like to see her boss Dan (Stephan Root) again. He was a good match up with Bernie.
