I've seen and enjoyed many. But, unless there are a lot of six-year-old and under kids out there with their own credit card…it’s still a mystery to me.

Start-up...about $70. Upkeep...about $25/month, including insurance. (thepetfaq.com)
Of course there really isn't a need for insurance. If the poor bugger gets sick/injured...this is always an option for handling the situation.
