So Leonard thinks that Physics is at a dead end, like Sheldon who thought his string theory research was a dead end and Penny whose acting dreams were a dead end .
Whose next ?
Dennis Kim: ... the string theory research being done here is nothing but a dead end.
Sheldon: Excuse me, that is my research, and it is by no means a dead end.
Dennis Kim: Well, obviously you don't see it yet, but trust me, you will.

Raj's love life? Oh wait, that already happened. Several times.
I hope there will only be successes in these (potentially) last two seasons. I get that they're nerds, and an aspect of being a nerd is being downtrodden, but nerds also find success and happiness. No more dead ends.
By the way, did you know that another name for a dead end is a cul-de-sac? It's a fancy French way of saying, "This road ain't goin' no further."

Well, definitely not Howard. Engineering is a living, breathing entity. The entire civilization would have to end for engineering to dead end.
Can’t be Stuart; because considering his iffy state from-one-minute-to-the-next, “dead end” doesn’t just sound like a “figure of speech”.
That leads us to Raj; also a no go when it comes to catching the “dead end” worry-bug. Truth is, Raj gives the impression of being the least focused on his career (even including Stuart). It seems incidental to whatever else is going on in his life. Kind of hard to be overly worried about your career choice being a dead end, when it’s not a weighty part of your life in the first place.
So, I think we can relax. I think dead-end-career-fears are done.
