You make the call:
Let's say Ruchi becomes more than a one-episode wonder and chooses one of the guys; who should it be?
I going with Stuart.
-1. He deserves a win. Raj has flubbed enough chances.
-2. He wasn't as conniving as Raj.
-3. He was more considerate of her friends as-opposed-to boyfriend wish.
-4. He seems to be on his way back to being pre-sad-sack Stuart (just the fact that he was “in there swinging"); and as we all know back then he was a pleasure; and a charmer.
What say you—why?

I suspect I'll be the only one to say this, but I'm actually on team Raj. Stuart just seemed SOOOOOO desperate last night that at one point I expressed to Mr. Lemons that the scene was painful...and it was because of something that Stuart said. (I'd have to go back and watch to remember specifics.)

How about team Ruchi. I would like to see her just being friendly and not cuddling up to either Raj or Stewart. Raj was just as obnoxious as he was with Penny in the 30 under 30 episode and Stewart was just Stewart. If Ruchi chooses Stewart over Raj, then Raj might as well just jump into the Ganges. It would really bring him down. As for Stewart he was on the defensive against Raj half the time. It is like Raj and Stewart are the new Raj and Howard but sadder. Why would Ruchi want any of that. Bernie is kicking herself for allowing it to happen.

But Bernadette wanted to keep them away, Howard is the one that messed it up.

I like Raj but I do not want to see him grovel to find a 'girlfriend'. I also would like to know why the writers & the viewers always have to pair people up? People can be perfectly happy without a significant other.

People can be. But it doesn't seem like Raj can, or Stuart can.

She wouldn't pick either one, they are both blatantly desperate .

I would agree except that: She asked them out the second time around. Maybe "blatantly desperate" isn't an automatic turnoff for her.

When it comes to "desperate" at least Stuart has reasons for his state-of-mind. He has suffered some serious reversals in the last few; and is just starting to rebound. Yet, Raj who has everything going for him—career, money, looks, hair, a place (of his own) to live—is just as desperate as Stuart. Maybe even more so since he is the one who tried to pull-a-fast-one and keep Stuart away from the date.

Raj is a complete ass. As we saw in the past, he'd screw over his best friend (Howard) for the slightest chance at a woman. He's a selfish cad. And then when he HAD a woman, he acted like a complete dick. Then he had TWO women, and blew both of them out because he was a total ass. I've about had it with Raj. If his character left the show, I'd be just fine with that. Stuart on the other hand, just seems like a weasel.
Hopefully we don't see this character again - and it makes the point moot. But if I had to 'select' one of these guys, it would be Stuart. But something tells me this woman could do better than either of these guys. If not, there's always a B.O.B. that wouldn't come with the baggage these two carry around.

Considering how he reacted when Sheldon Cooper got a girlfriend first; can only imagine what his response would be to Stuart beating-him-out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, they are not "A-listers”--but, unless she is as desperate for friends as they are for girlfriends, there must be something about them she enjoyed during her first encounter with them, otherwise why put herself through it again.
Also, even the second time around she didn’t banished them outright, but simply told them she was JUST interested friendship. Of course, not being familiar with their past history and myriad of shortcomings may have something do why she didn't jettison them. Probably all she sees is two eager-to-please (over-eager) men vying for her attention.

As with the Iran-Iraq war, please can't they both lose? Neither of them is interested in her as a person, they just want "a date" either to make themselves feel better or to rub the other's nose in or both. It wouldn't really be any different for them if they tried to be "just friends" either, they would be trying to change that around - and constantly one-upping each other if they were both still in the picture - and/or trying to get her to set them up with other friends.

She asked them to come out platonically, not becuase she was looking for romance. If a woman is interested in you romantically she's not asking you AND your friend to tag along on a night out.

Not sure I understand the "A-Listers" comment. But as for why she wanted to be friends with them, and saw them a second time, I'm not reading anything more into that other than the script called for it in order to tell the story and show how desperate both these men are.

I stand corrected K, Bernie is kicking Howard right now. But as I write this what if Ruchi takes them both out and plays them just like Raj played Claire and Emily ? No that would be bad. Please make this relationship nonsense stop.
