In most cases live action sitcoms last between 7 and 9 seasons the ones who goes over that suffers because of it as they often start jumping the shark. Now, big bang is still a funny show but if you compare it to earlier seasons there are sign of fatigue. How much longer do you think it should last? I would hate the show to end in such a way as Two and a half men so sometime it is better for a show to know exactly how long they should last before they start going stale.

You mean something where Sheldon DOESN'T get a piano dropped on him? Dang, I was counting on that!

Maybe it's time to add new characters?

That leads into the whole "they already have too many characters for maybe less than 18 minutes of actual show per episode."

Well every character doesn't have to be in every episode. They used Romana and Emily as recurring characters sparingly and they did it well. Sitcoms have added to the main cast late in their run, or brought on recurring characters as permanent. There's unlimited potential to what you can do here. Where's Emily? Claire? Vanessa? Will?

If they can't figure this out than season 14 won't be nearly as watchable as 10 seasons prior.

Only if the Roadrunner makes a guest appearance.

Hasn't been running too long in my book. I still enjoy it and it still makes me laugh. The writers are still able to surprise and entertain me. It's all good. sunglasses

Yes, it has... they've went too far from the original idea.

Getting everyone married is ruining the show... it is the equivalent to a sitcom adding a new kid; it has ALWAYS ruined the show.

They should have ignored the passage of time and kept everything the same: like the Simpsons. :) (No, I'm not watching the Simpsons, I just know that no one ages, Maggie is still a baby, etc.)
