Some of you might Remember from our IMBD days I used to post a "Things we learned " thread after every premiere episode. Here's what we learned from season 11 Episode 1 and the Underwhelming Young Sheldon Premiere
-Penny has no clue when her and Leonard's anniversary is
-You can't escape a BBT episode without hearing an Avenger's reference.
-At one point Sheldon had a relevant brother
-Stephen Hawking Skypes
-Raj will ask out ANY girl.
-The way it's going, Stuart is going to be the Marsha Brady of a very large Wolowitz household.
-Sheldon's alcoholic Dad was the wisest member of his family.
-Howard's schmeckle is still working
-Amy is a lot more forgiving than Penny, but only because Sheldon is more immediately honest than Leonard.
-Raj has now asked out both halves of Garfunkle and Oates

Are those all supposed to be things we FIRST learned in the season 11 premiere/Young Sheldon premiere? Hawking has been on Skype several times in previous episodes, Raj actually asked out the second half of G&O in the season 10 finale, Stuart actually said "If all goes according to plan, this is my retirement home" about Howard and Bernadette's house in season 10, Sheldon had less to fear from being honest than Leonard did...

That's a good one. How about: Professor Proton looked almost as old in 1989 as in 2016.

If you don't grasp the tone of this thread from what I wrote I really can't help you. And not everyone has seen every episode, I certainly haven't.

That part, especially, could be used as an excuse to claim everything is new just because it's the first time you happened to see it, or maybe just the first time you remembered it. Different story if you had called it "Things I learned... (because I just started watching a show that's been on for 10 years)"
Which reminds me. You know what I learned this morning? The sun comes up!

Splitting hairs between ,we and I with a false equivalence to follow. You really are precious.
You need rabbit back to play with you.
Ill break it down for you" Things we learned" was never meant to be taken literally. Either that will satify your Grammer Nazi crusade or I will be displeased to disappoint Mein Fuhrer again.

Please. These threads have been around for YEARS. My observation is, you know damn well what the point is, and you are just being obtuse and attempting to troll and disrupt the thread. If you actually don't grasp what the point is here, then you are one of the stupidest people on this board.

Things we learned...
---Although Sheldon (and Young Sheldon) is a stickler for rules, he apparently has no issues not following them - as he repeatedly talked during church.
---Kids walk around in Texas subdivisions holding chickens.

Those are both good. But only someone who started watching this year, could believe "Stephen Hawking Skypes" should... what, even somehow humorously?... go on a list of "things we learned from the season premiere." And they'd still be wrong. What else did we "learn" in the season premiere? Penny likes chocolate? C'mon.
On the plus side, Young Sheldon did hold up his hand to be called on, before pointing out the teacher had "a little mustache."

When Sheldon tries to build his nuclear reactor he will get the parts from Radio Shack. Except for the yellow cake uranium because that is what you call it fissionable material that the nice man from the government came by to talk to Shelly about.

If memory serves,
in the S10 finale Raj just asked to join her at her table and got shot down; so he never actually got to the asking out part. But, he was planning to do so.

Do you not know what " not meant to be taken literally" means or do you abandon all reason when you want to argue?

Don't even bother pointing that one out. You'll distract him from staring at orange juice cartons.

Joining her for lunch is kind of a "date." In that sense, he didn't really ask her out in the season premiere. He said he would, if she didn't shut him down again. But he never actually asked her out, or that time even to join her at her table for lunch.
