Production costs have gone way up and they already have a strong, built-in fanbase, so I can see why they would scale back on the pre-season promos. At Season 11, people are either going to watch or not watch regardless of how many promos they put out.

I can't see a “yes” answer requiring a session. That is, unless she said yes—and then Sheldon started having second-thoughts about the whole marriage thing.

Didn't see/hear anything about Newhart coming back; but if so .

Oops, sorry. I was referring to the promo I saw for upcoming Young Sheldon. I should have mentioned that originally. They definitely had Young Sheldon watching Professor Proton, and it seemed to be Newhart playing the role but it went by too quickly to be certain.

Makes all kind of sense, since "old" Sheldon gushes about how watching Prof. Proton while growing up had such a profound effect on his life.

Still, if Newhart also showed up on TBBT, I wouldn’t be .
