Not much of a fight-fan any more. As a kid, used to watch with my dad and the neighbor. Somewhere along the way moved on to other things.

Still check out the results of major fights; but, really don’t follow the ins and outs of the sport nowadays.

I've read that McGregor gets $100 million just for showing up. Not bad.

I was THOROUGHLY entertained. I think it was pretty obvious Floyd felt him out for the first few rounds ( that's why McGregor outscored him), then when McGregor got tired he went in for the kill.

Connor did way better than I expected.

I think this fight will open up the door for more MMA fighters being confident they can cross over to boxing. Also, as much as I dislike Floyd as a person, he's a consummate professional in the ring.

My older brother and Fiance are both MMA nuts, so maybe I'll give it a chance starting with Connor's fights.
