Was looking for stuff on the new Showrunner—Steve Holland— who is replacing Molaro now that he has moved over to helm “Young Sheldon”; but, stopped at this instead.
List of top TBBT guest stars:
-12. Stan Lee
-11. Stephen Hawking
-10. Adam West
-9. LeVar Burton
-8. Neil deGrasse Tyson
-7. Billy Bob Thornton
-6. Wil Wheaton
-5. Steve Wozniak
-4. Leonard Nimoy
-3. Carrie Fisher
-2. James Earl Jones
-1. Bob Newhart
--Surprised that “Lee” came in so low; expected him, at least, to be in the top 5—same with “Hawking”.
--Had forgotten that “Fisher” was on the show—maybe because it was little more than a cameo— would rank "Tyson" over her**.
--Isn’t it a misnomer to call “Wheaton” a guest—shouldn’t his status be upgraded to recurring by now?
--Surprised that “Nimoy” made the list—since he was voice-only.
--Not at all surprised about “Newhart”—expected him to be #1 even before I started reading the list.
Any surprises—blatant omissions?

Since they are at a university then a "St. Elmos Fire' mention might be good. Also I looked up his credits and Judd Nelson did voice Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime in the 1986 Transformers cartoon so there is a good tie in. Now what about Ashley, Wynnona and Naomi Judd ?

Ashley Judd did a few Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes. So the guys might be interested because of that. But she looks quite a bit different now (as does Marina Sirtis, yikes!) and she's gone rather loony politically.

She's part of - even one of the initiators of - the whole 'nasty woman' thing, and other nonsense.

Why is it nonsense?

I don't have the time or the interest to explain why lefty nonsense is nonsense. Educate yourself, or get someone else to do it.

List is soooooooooooooooooo old...long before "Buffy" made an appearance on the show. Kind of wonder where she'd place if she had showed up earlier. I generally "note" where I find things...too bad I didn't do it this time...would be interesting see what such a list would look like today.
After all, this list is pre-Shatner...no doubt he would be well-placed on a new one.

I know. She was last, but certainly not least, of all the guest stars.

That's a shame, in a way. They could have easily ended with Raj taking Shatner to the Nobel Prize ceremony.
