Oh what the heck, I'll kick in a couple. I wanted to hear these again tonight, two favorites from what I call the "Wake The F*** UP!" collection. If you need help rousing yourself in the morning, take these two and... well, call your regular doctor, I guess, not me.

Here's one that popped up in my song-list for the first time in a long time.
Here Comes the Feeling - Asia
This one is off their first album. Written by John Wetton - another great musician we recently lost in 2017.
Features their signature sound, with a great melody and excellent harmonies. It's also one that doesn't get the same kind of airplay other Asia tunes get - like "Heat of the Moment".

Anyone have a Paczki today? Wish I could have one with custard - but on a major health and weight kick here.
Here's one for Fat Tuesday!
Eat It - Weird Al
I'm not a big fan of Al, but I remember when this was actually 'debuted' on MTV - couldn't believe what I was seeing.
My favorite part is at the start when the gang leader with the white jacket turns around and has a big "smiley" face on his jacket. smh

Here's one I love. It doesn't get much airplay on any station anymore, which is a shame. It's a terrific song from an under-rated group.
Lucky Man - The Verve

Here's one of my favorite songs from ABC.
How to be a Millionaire - ABC
I remember a guy at one of the clubs back in the 80's who would get on a table at the 2:25 mark with the guitar riff - and would play air guitar - then jump off the table. Saw him do it like 3 times. Funny the shit that sticks in your head. The 80's were a strange time.
And for those of you who like extended versions of old 80's tracks (although this one isn't the best)

Unbelievable. Just found out today another friend of mine died. I guess I'm old enough now where it's not people's Dad's and Mom's, because we are the Dads and Moms and Uncles. Although we don't have any kids. Maybe that's why the time for us hasn't been so measured as we don't have those "first birthdays/first day of school/graduations" type of events to mark the time.
In any event, I'm tossing this one out here from my friend.
FYI - you guys might not want to refer to me as your 'friend'. They aren't having good luck these days.
Ordinary World - Duran Duran
