Mrs. Gothish , I may have you beat in the Duranie fanatic department. I have some of their lyrics tattooed on me from my younger and Completely Reckless-er days.

Here's one from 1985. This band had only one real hit. I heard this at a party the other day. Clearly, the hosts were playing retro music from the 80's. I was like "Is this Journey? Or Night Ranger"? Then I remembered, it's Giuffria.

Apologize for the super late reply.
"Breaking away with the best of both worlds". From New Moon on Monday
"Crime and Passion" - just inspired by the song title
"On the razors edge" - From Wild Boys
Those are what I remember off the top of my head, but I got more.
When I was in my twenties I spent a lot of time in tattoo parlors getting anything I found profound permanently marked on my body, lyrics , novel quotes etc.
Some I don't even recall getting ,go figure.

This brings new meaning to the phrase "I can read you like a book"

I love it! I am surprised that it never occurred to me to get a DD lyric tattoo. They have some pretty esoteric stuff, I just might look into that.

My sister has three classic literary quote tattoos on her back: A raven sitting on top of a stack of books with "Nevermore" around it, "We're all mad here" with the Cheshire Cat hanging from one of the letters, and "To thine own self be true" in script accented with a feather quill. They're pretty cool.

As an Edgar Allen Poe fan, I love it, as well as the Hamlet quote.
It's just a shame that quote has been repurposed to justify mischief. I may be wrong but I believe Polonius meant it sarcastically, I'll have to read Hamlet again.
When as younger I saw tatoos as art but the novelty diminished as I grew up. Now I'm just grateful I met a Wife who didn't mind tats.

Here's one for Calabrian Queen. As I recall, when I posted this on the IMDB thread, you liked this one. I hadn't heard it in a while, but the other day it came on. Haven't been on much here, but thought I'd re-post it in this music thread.

Here's one from 1985 when the band FOREIGNER was on tour. I wasn't at this exact concert, but I did see this tour. It was the band at it's best.
Foreigner - THAT WAS YESTERDAY
Here is the song with the ending of "I Wanna Know What Love Is". It's about 1 minute - but captures the choir and audience. That was a great show. That Was Yesterday - w/Intro
I have always wanted to see FOREIGNER again since 1985. Their debut album was the very first album I ever purchased. Saved up 4 weeks of allowance to buy the 8-Track (now I'm dating myself). But I've had no interest in seeing a Faux Foreigner, without Lou Gramm. In fact, for a period of time, Foreigner toured without a single member of the original lineup due to health issues for Mick Jones.
However, Foreigner is having a 40th Reunion Concert at The Soaring Eagle Casino in Michigan on October 6th and 7th. They will be filming/recording these shows with the ORIGINAL LINEUP - yep - with Lou Gramm and everyone back together - for a TV special, DVD and live album, all expected to be released during 2018. The venue only seats 3200 people - so I am THRILLED that after 32 years, I'll get to see them again. I can't wait for these 8 days to pass until the concert. I don't get to many concerts anymore - but this one I couldn't pass up. The likelihood they ever tour again, intact, at their ages, is highly unlikely. So this is truly a once in a lifetime event.
Man am I excited!!!!!

Think I posted this back in the IMDB days, but it's still a great tune. I probably wrote this too, but this reminds me of the mid-late 80's. After a long night out at a club, or with my girlfriend at the time who lived in the boondocks. This song would almost always come out. The road empty, fog. Steam coming from ponds. It was really a cool feeling and song. And every time I hear it, it takes me right back to those 3:30 - 4:00 AM drives. That's the great thing about music. It's like your own personal time machine.
