This is not just one song, but an entire set from UNPLUGGED by one of the most underrated artists America has ever produced - John Mellencamp. This was just put on YOUTUBE about 6 months ago. Prior to that, this session was only partially available in dribs and drabs. I have the entire performance on VHS from it's original airing. This is my favorite version of his bands. I've seen him many times. My favorite was a free impromptu concert in downtown Detroit that he announced on the radio that morning. He and his band were traveling, camping, vacationing, and would stop around different areas and play a free afternoon lunch concert. My wife and I got to be about 10 feet from the band. We both left work (we worked hard, so asking for an afternoon off was granted). SO AWESOME.

Love this song, saw them in concert at a small local venue and they put on a great show.

And so jealous you saw Green Day, how were they?

They were amazing, they ran through all their biggest songs and Billy Joe Armstrong likes to invite people on stage to sing.
