I'm not sure if this merits its on thread or not, but I think it might. Inspired in part by Miss Erica, our Calabrian Queen, and our last 2 entries into the song thread, please name a song that a group or solo artist must have had a blast recording.
Here's one: Brick House by The Commodores

I don't know if it's really possible to tell if someone actually had fun or not, while recording. Because there can be so many overdubs and stuff involved, and many times all the people involved may not even be there at the same time.
But if I had to guess, at least in terms of making the videos, this is one recent possibility:

I did not know that Moneygrabber song but I liked it! It did sound fun to record. Maybe I should have said fun to "perform" instead. Even if they aren't all together at the recording, they most likely perform it together at some point.

Yes that's true. And in terms of live performances, the energy coming from the audience can be really something too. On the down side, the videos I included that involve extra people etc, are not something you'd likely see "in concert."
On the other hand, there are a few (more or less) live show videos that are pretty impressive, such as this one:

This one looks like it wasn't a real live show, the audience is too small. More likely something staged to perform for the video, and once again there are extra people who wouldn't be at a live show, but I bet they got the people jumping in larger arenas too:

Sweet Z. Raj and Howard sure are lucky to have you promoting their group! And I think they did have fun. Here's another fun song, which is an excerpt from one of Howard's lyrics.
Bad Mamma Jamma
I have been known to unashamedly dance around my house to this one. The family is used to me.

And this one was never done for an audience, even in the movie. But I'd say they were clearly having a blast:

Yes, I'm sure Walk Like an Egyptian was fun to perform. My husband would have liked to watch them live. He was in love with Susanna Hoffs...
I just basically meant a song that sounded like a whole lot of fun, that was probably a blast to perform.

I got one
Chaka Khan- Ain't Nobody https://youtu.be/-Ro8-ngA8gs
There's no way she didn't have a huge smile on her face in the booth recording this.
I recently heard this in the supermarket with my BF and started singing it to him , people were laughing at me 😁

Those songs WERE fun! I liked Farmer John, and them Spats knew how to shake their booties! Or at least stick them out.

Oh how I love me some Chaka. Here is a song in my top 3 favorites of all time, and I think she was lovin' it. I would be, too, with a bunch of sweaty hotties pantin' behind me.

That's too easy. Vickie Peterson was clearly superior. :-)

Then get your hubby over to the screen and watch this movie, although I am sure he already has. It was even directed by Susanna's mom !

I saw that many years ago. Sadly, she didn't do any real nudity. But she didn't really have that much to show anyway. What people mostly got infatuated with was her face - especially her eyes - and her voice. Vickie Peterson definitely had the body, and a nice voice too although not as distinctive. (One of my all-time favorite Bangles songs is the VP-sung "What I Meant To Say" which I don't think was ever on a regular album of theirs. Wiki credits the singing on that to sister Debbie Peterson but to me it doesn't sound like Debbie, and the 3-song (?) EP I have with it, credits Vickie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnT8D6AhAi4 ) A very distinctive voice can be a drawback too, it tends to make all your stuff sound alike. Fortunately the Bangles traded off singing duties on different pieces so it wasn't always her. Even bass-player Michael Steele got in a few times. (Steele was an early member of The Runaways, for those who don't remember.)
