I take severe umbrage to the fact that Sheldon sees making lemon bars as something you do because you're mad at someone. Why are lemons getting the shaft, huh? Do only chocolate desserts get respect in this world? Is that what all the cool kids are eating??

Now you're talkin! Maybe we can open up our own bakery, specializing in treats for people you're mad at. The two top sellers could be mango caterpillar snow cones and gummy worm and mayonnaise tacos. I wonder what we would call the shop?

I love lemon bars. So I understand your ire.
I think I would make oatmeal raisin cookies if I were angry, because they are much-maligned and might fool someone who thinks they are chocolate chip cookies at first glance. And also, they are my favorite so I could eat some of them as well. I'd take an oatmeal raisin cookie over a chocolate chip cookie any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

But oatmeal raisin are my favorite, too. Without nuts. Don't want no crunch when I munch.

I thought Sheldon chose to make lemon bars, because he knew that Leonard didn't like them. If Leonard didn't like apple pie, he would have made that.

The Sheldon-is-a-great-cook stuff seemed a bit off. Sheldon would just follow recipes and when things turned out badly, he would blame the recipes, or something. Like he learns to swim by flopping on the floor, etc.
