Discuss The Big Bang Theory

Not sure if you guys watch but There's a Character from "Wrecked " on TBS named Florence who's a lot like Bernadette, a fiesty shrill-voiced blonde with glasses. I couldn't help but wonder if the Bernadette character served as inspiration.

You know how you didn't know there was a "Flatliners" movie before? Well, there have also been characters just like Bernadette for decades too. Bernadette was not the first.

Im very much aware Bernadette is not the first character of her kind but the comparison for any fan of "wrecked" is worth making since there's a difference between deliberate and unintentional similarity.

Next time I have the audacity to make a comparison between two characters on different shows I will consult your attorneys for permission lest I find myself at the mercy of more cease and desist letters like the one's you've sent via priority mail, the ones I've used as kitty box liners for the past two weeks.

Okey Dokey artichokey? cat

Geez; I'm shallow; but, I found that grin

The original post title/subject is only "There's a Character on another Comedy show just like Bernadette..." with no mention of the other show's name etc.

The truly appropriate response to that is "duh."

Most people with common sense read past the subject line for context. Try again. "Duh".

There is some similarity with the character of Bernadette, but I don't think that is intentional. The actress Jessica Lowe who plays Florence is awesome. She is funny and does stand-up and impressions, watch here and here.

She's halarious and she has the perfect voice to do cartoon voice acting.
