We have seen the return, twice already, of the giant painting. Now I find that thing hideous and find it ridiculous that Penny would still have it on her wall. Unless, since we don’t see it on an actual wall, it just might be a hallucination she is having. What other prop would you like to see return or not return? The bug chair? The limited edition green lantern lantern? The Tardis?

"Pass" is simply the wrong form/usage in that situation. No matter whether you refer to hulk hands or anything else. Nobody is ever long "pass" something. They might be long PAST it. But that is certainly arguable, in Sheldon's case.

Knixon, my question is why does it matter??? And quit burying my perfectly good answer or Znex will never see it!

Did you miss the part about a card-carrying member of the Grammar Police not needing policing? But he's just wrong, that's all.
Anyway I've been waiting for Penny to get a big check in the mail for the shoe-finding app.

Listen K, all I'm saying is that it's one thing to argue on a message board about opposing concepts and ideas. I'll pull out my popcorn for that and enjoy the show. But nitpicking about spelling and grammar just isn't necessary. I actually agree with you on the pass/past thing, but just don't think it was worth pointing out. It's one thing to be a debater, and another to be a contrarian.
And that's all I'm going to say about that.
As for the shoe-finding app, I wish Penny the best, but I didn't find that nearly as exciting as the penny blossoms. I guess I'm more into hair thingy-dingys than foot coverings.

Sorry to butt in, but "pass" was used incorrectly in your original sentence. The correct word is "past". Knixon's English Teacher post explains it perfectly.
I also call into question your use of the word "abject" in this sentence:
I think you meant objection.
Sorry, my inner Grammer Police personality came out!

Using “pass” was intentional; "abject" was just a typo.
Also--stop trying to bait me by using "Grammer"--not falling into that "sticky".

I only pointed out the mistake. Him continuing to insist it's not a mistake, makes him a contrarian, not me.
It's somewhat reminiscent of a few people I dealt with in the past, who - when finally confronted with undeniably losing an argument - claimed they were just being "devil's advocate" all along.

I also kinda like the cow-shaped butter dish (probably) sometimes seen next to the stovetop in Penny's old apartment. It reminds me somewhat of a set of 'canisters' (or cookie jars) I used to have, a set of 4 I think it was that when put together, formed a cow.

My use of the word "pass" was intentional--how many ways, how many times must I say it! It was what I wanted to say--how I wanted to say it. Nowhere, not ever, did I claim anything about "just being "devil's advocate"". I did it; I own it.
Should be a lot more “owning” going around?
Someone who has spent days going back and forth, doing an investigation trying to gather facts to prove that a word should end in "t" instead of "s" shouldn't bristle at being referred to as Grammar Police.
It’s a “Message Board”—maybe the lowest form of written communication. My message was clear, PC and on-point. We are not writing “dissertations” out here. If any member of the Grammar Police Team has found that my writing is unpalatable, I suggest they skip future posts—AND READ ON.

NOTE TO OP:
I generally don’t stray so far off topic, or go on and on about nothing. I guess the

In classic "I was just playing devil's advocate" style, you only recently started claiming that you were intentionally incorrect. Your first response - and what continued for some time - was that you were ACTUALLY correct. There's no "intentionally incorrect" suggested.

The penny blossoms were a good bit of work for them, which would be a problem if they're (mostly, all but Penny) supposed to be at the university during the day. (And didn't they figure out they were making like 20 cents an hour or something?)
Unless they outsourced the production to some more of Raj's cousins in India (the ones that don't already work at call centers), the shoe-finder app comes out ahead because she/they only had to come up with it once, then some random time later a big check comes in the mail that changes her life.

Speaking of props--saw an article in the morning paper that made me think of this Thread. It was about the upcoming auction for the dance floor from the movie "Saturday Night Fever". Bidding start at ** $1M**.
--Can't imagine anything from this show ever going for that kind of money. Although, I do kind of think that the elevator may be worth a few $$$ someday.
