What with Young Sheldon on the horizon, what other character do you think would make for a good “when they were young” spin off? Come up with a show title and an episode description. Television or movie. For example:
Lil’ Leonard
Rugrat Raj
Amy the Awkward Adolescent
Powderpuff Penny the Cow Tipping Teen
Penny: Confessions of a High School Corn Queen
Kid Kripke
Stuart at Sixteen
Honey I Shrunk the Sheldon
Carry on Koothrapali

Don't know if you remember this Znex but on imbd I suggested a Penny spin-off about her childhood called Nebraska High. I imagined it as a teen drama like Degrassi .

I don't recall that exactly but it sounds like you. Sounds like a good idea especially with some of the stories Penny has told about herself. There was also the flashback Penny had when Leonard asked Penny what she was doing 7 (?) years ago, when he was telling her how he and Sheldon got together, with a young Penny and her boyfriend and a pregnancy test, "Not Pregnant. Yes !" I hope I got all that right. I also noticed a nice double meaning with your title. Nebraska High as in High School and Nebraska high as in the meth labs in her town as well as her brothers.

Well for sure it couldn't be called Lincoln High. Because, after all, she's from Omaha.

I thought Penny said she was from Omaha in the first episode or two and then said she was from Nebraska later on?

That was my/the joke, yes. In first episode she tells Leonard and Sheldon about a story/script she had about a girl from Lincoln, Nebraska who goes to California to be an actress and works at the Cheesecake Factory. Leonard says "Oh, it's about your life!" and Penny says "No, I'm from Omaha."

I didn't even think of that you sexy little genius ,you! 😁
It could even be a triple entendre. High as in high school, high as in high on drugs and "high" as in the highs and lows of her early life. I assume you'll assist me with the pilot as a co-writer?
If I were writing it I would give it the same tone as Dawson's Creek, slightly dark comedy and witty dialouge.

It takes one to know one. Or I know I am but what are you? Or I know you are but what am I ? Anyways Kevin Smith was/is a big Degrassi fan. Maybe he can play a role as one of Pennys teachers. And someone from Dawson can play a role as well.

I'd love too see Katie Holmes go back to the small screen, she can play one of Penny's jaded educators.
