So we know Raj has had zero luck finding a love interest that sticks around (Lucy)or doesn't betray him (Claire). I think his best approach is letting Penny ,Bernie, and Amy set him up with a single friend, that way at least he'll have insight into the girl he's dating.
These three have to have some single friends looking for a boyfriend that would give Raj a chance.

Lots of women give Raj a chance. And they all end up dumping him. Because he's needy, vain, a mama's boy... all of that.

I would like to see Raj happy with someone, in part because it would be a fresh storyline. But if they're going to have him date someone new, I want it to stick this time. No more introducing us to a new girl, only to take her away by the next episode or so. I'd actually rather him remain single than see more painfully failed relationships.

Then we would have a character who would be eighth in line for attention, not to mention everyone's parents would get lines before this love interest would. No more girlfriends for Raj is my preference given what happened to the rest of them. Raj needs the kind of girl the show doesn't seem to interested in having, a more manly girl, a female Howard if you will. Or how about Ms. Davis? On second thought just no. The show is boring enough as is right now. Plus the show still has to get those "beautiful and smart" babies for Leonard and a non test tube super baby for Shamy. With all of that who has time for another girlfriend storyline. I don't want to see an interesting actress wasted on this. For example I thought Claire was cool and I wanted to hear about her sci-fi animated movie script, but no she has to be turned into another bland girlfriend.

So true. He doesn't do himself any favors, but when you have the resource of three female friends/collegues who socialize with possibly single and interestd women you have to take advantage. A lot of people end up finding their perfect match through friends.

Maybe so. But if Raj is going to continue to be needy, vain, a mama's boy.. all of that, I don't think I would want to meet or associate with the woman who would be his perfect match.

Penny did introduce Raj to a friend in S07E08 ""The Itchy Brain Simulation" and that went horribly wrong:
So I don't know if any one else would want to risk losing a friend by setting her up with Raj.

I remembered that interaction, but didn't remember it was Penny that introduced them.
Raj might be improving a little, though. He didn't accuse Isabella of being secretly married when she told him she wasn't.

I had forgotten that, but you're right- they already tried that route and Penny's friend got mad at her. Sometimes I wonder who Bernie and Amy's other friends are. We've never seen any evidence of them.

Penny's friends seem to be mostly guys. But since so many people seem to think Raj is - or at least should be - gay, that could work.

It worked for Richard the Slave Girl at that one Comic-Con. Or maybe bring in the overweight Sailor Moon girl that Howard and Raj shared at that other another Comic -Con. Now if Raj goes to Comic Con by himself this year he will have all the honeys to himself.

What makes you think Raj could possibly end up going by himself? With all his money problems that Sheldon is keeping him from spending money on "frivolous" things? If anyone goes alone, it will be Sheldon.
The only thing I could see that could stop Sheldon from going alone, would be if he finds out that he would have to share a hotel room with strangers. But if that happened he might decide to "commute" every day.

That's also what I'm suggesting, in the next season he finds someone who sticks.

Well then after Sheldon tells Raj that he can't afford to go to Comic-Con he then tells Raj that he has to drive him. So Raj ends up driving Sheldon to Comic-Con but not going himself.

That could theoretically happen, if Stuart doesn't drive him. And if nobody (except Amy) knows yet that Sheldon has his driver's license.

Story idea: Raj ends up driving Sheldon to Comic Con but has to wait in the car for him because he has no ticket. Eventually Raj will get despondent but is cheered up by a Beyonce song on the radio. Raj then falls asleep only to drain the car battery by leaving the radio and lights on by the time Sheldon arrives. They are both stranded at Comic-Con but guess who shows up asking if they need a jump. Stan Lee! . Stan recognizes them both and leaves.
