I know you said "next season"...but, between the next two seasons I consider Shatner the #One Get. Would love to see him on the show.
My second choice would be ANYONE from the recent Star Wars movies (will never happen, but I can dream) .

Thank God those HD cameras can shoot widescreen to accommodate his ego.
Although how's this for a Shatner plotline? The guys go to a convention and basically ignore Shatner, agreeing beforehand not to act like idiot-obsessed fanboys, and Shatner goes nuts because they won't gush over him.

It could be real funny if they had Shatner pulling various stunts or whatever to get their attention, but there's only 18 minutes and they seem committed to doing SOMETHING with EVERYONE in EVERY episode lately. So it probably wouldn't be workable.

I was considering a paragraph-long dissertation on my 2+ year quest to have Brian May on the show, but decided to spare everyone.
I mean, if Chuck Lorre's idea of a good guest star is to bring Christopher Lloyd on the show and waste him on awkward lines like, "Well... if we're rubbing genitals on things, that's where I shine." that's fine. And if he wants to bring on Nathan Fillion and waste him on a very unmemorable restaurant scene, hey, no biggie. It was in a restaurant, right? See, I barely remember. Clearly, the plan for bringing on guest stars is to bring on someone famous and use them in such a way that the audience is left going, "huh???". Or at least, "big whoop". Perhaps with the exception of the Billy Bob Thornton episode. So why on earth would they bring on Brian May? I mean he's only an astrophysicist who they could easily write into a scene with Raj. Heck, it would give Raj something to do! Plus he's the guitarist for one of the greatest bands in history. But NO, let's bring on Elon Musk (???) and have him eat used pumpkin pie with Howard instead!
So today I hereby give up my quest. Brian, I tried.
Stomping off, slamming door, stubbing toe, cursing, climbing under the covers.
Aren't you glad I didn't write a dissertation?
And by the way, that was all a lie. I shall never give up.

Well, at least they did better with Bob Newhart.

Forgot about Wil Wheaton.
What season would be complete without Wheaton. But, I'm guessing, he'll be at the bachelor party and/or wedding...whenever/if.

I love it! A possible addition of you don't mind... That they dress asevery other character on Star Trek, to additionally mess with his head haha

Well in "The Bakersfield Expedition" for example, they all dressed as Next Generation characters. Which suggests that they may not be all that obsessed with TOS (The Original Series) to start with. Except when Sheldon quizzed Leonard before allowing him to move in, Leonard answered "correctly" (according to Sheldon) that Picard is better than Kirk, but TOS is better than TNG...
Maybe they just couldn't bring themselves to have Raj wear his Uhura costume on-screen?

I don't know. He wore a Catwoman costume...and felt very empowered.

But this was just about having Shatner on and getting a reaction from him because of the guys not fawning over him. Although having Raj in either a Catwoman or Uhura costume and doing that, could be pretty good. As long as they don't take it too far for prime time broadcast TV.

Let me add to your list Sheldon’s former nemesis Leslie Winkle who just seemed to show up in the background at his birthday party, Ramona who last time Sheldon begged Penny to save him from, now just wants to kiss him, and Zack who may or may not want Penny back and may or may not have a girlfriend. I’d rather not have anymore appearance of old characters or promising guest stars if given such lame things to do. I bet even Zazzles would be less Zazzy and Lovey Dovey less Dovey.

Z!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Znex! Do you know how excited I was to see you finally back on here? I have waited for you not one, not two, but 15 moons! Wait. I'm doing this wrong.
Dearest Znex, It has been many a fortnight and morrow since we last met. I hope all has been well in your shire. I agree that all characters, whether one-offs, short-termers, long-termers, celebrity or non-celebrity, should be utilized to their fullest extent. But come now my fellow implet, Zazzles less zazzy? Lovey no longer Dovey? You clearly took a marijuana.
With Great Love, LemonZ And don't stay gone so long next time!

Gamora's crazy "A" sister, Nebula (know it would have to be a dream sequence).
