1.Sounds you made/things you did during the final scene.
Me: First: Squealed, Next: Clapped, Finally: Cried
2.Did you predict the ending during the final commercial break?
Me: I predicted the kiss. Not the proposal.

I agree that Amy has the potential to be a total bridezilla, especially after the way she acted as Bernadette's maid of honor. There are lots of opportunities for hilarity coming up and I hope they capitalize on them.

That's certainly possible, but I really couldn't see either CBS/WB or Mayim parting ways with one another. They know she's a big reason the show has had such longevity, and I think Mayim knows there won't be major roles for her after this unless she wants to be a panelist on The View. And I can't see her wanting to put up with that headache.

Why would Amy even consider for a split second not saying yes??? She has been after him like white on rice relentlessly for many years now.

Maybe because she's been warned? So many warnings? Even HE warned her? (Paraphrasing/quoting from even a very recent episode.) And even in her dreams/fantasizing he's exhausting? (From an earlier episode.) Just for a few examples.
"Dating" and even "living together" are pretty trivial by comparison. Marriage should be taken more seriously, and I hope SHE would even though it might never occur to him to the same degree. He would just assume that everything would go his way, same as it always has. If anything he would probably figure that by marrying him, she's agreeing that everything WILL always go his way. Even if they had a "marriage agreement" because, like his previous "roommate agreements" I would expect it to include something along the lines of "any ties will be settled by me."

Think of it as him "hulking-out". The way a mother can become so pumped she lifts a car off her pinned child.
When a person is in such an emotional state it can be that "usual" doesn't apply; "impossible" becomes possible; and "fear" is thoroughly trampled by a myopic need to complete their "mission".
I remember reading about a guy who jumped off a bridge into freezing water to save someone (he did not know). He said that he ** HAD NO IDEA** he had jumped until he hit the water--adrenaline, a commanding force.
Sheldon was a man on a mission!
When Amy asks him how he got there so quickly, he'll probably give it some thought, realize what he did, and pass out!

I think she's going to say no once that emotional high subsides and the reality of what marriage to Sheldon would be like sets in. I can't imagine her being on board with a spur the moment proposal and not sitting him down later to say she's not ready.

I hope it won't be like what happened between Leonard and Penny: he proposing, she saying no, then she proposes, he saying no, and so on, until something happens and one of them finally accepts.

I fit in with both of those. IF she says yes at first, basically spur of the moment, she'll start thinking and realizing that Sheldon really isn't going to be a good husband now, and might NEVER be able to. Then she'll either have to postpone indefinitely, or just outright change her answer to "no" at least for now. And that would be because HE'S not ready.
For Amy's sake, though, I hope she has the presence of mind to say "no" to start with.

It was a great episode, and I love the theories presented here that the cliffhanger was dictated by contract negotiations. The female cast members really shined during the episode. I thought Amy, Penny, and Bernadette delivered strong performances.

Agree, Amy has always portrayed a desperate female. Would be hypocritical for anything but a "yes".

A "no" would be very annoying at this point. They've already had one breakup - let's stop screwing around and put this puppy to bed!
