Well, it wasn't real, but Sheldon's inter-dimensional portal thing had some possibilities. It was rather dumb of Sheldon to say that there couldn't be any danger because it was only a Frisbee-sized opening, or something. "You can block it with a Frisbee!" I would have liked a dream scene where a Frisbee-sized death ray comes through the portal, or maybe Frisbee-sized or even Frisbee-SHAPED killer aliens.
Only Sheldon would think that it only being Frisbee-sized was conclusive proof that it couldn't possibly be dangerous.
For that matter, what he made up to show Howard and Raj should have been enough proof that he was wrong.
They may have tried that before, but Sheldon would be the only one who might find it acceptable for determining their meal EVERY DAY. The others would have just given up and said "whatever you want, Sheldon." And then maybe gone out somewhere later, without him.
But Sheldon really loves schedules, so there's a good chance Sheldon would have only been playing to stick to his schedule anyway.

I did that experiment with a woofer. It was pretty cool. Giant Jenga would be a blast paired with a few drinks. BAZINGA!

There should've been a Laser Obstacle Game each time to determine what they'd have for dinner, instead of Sheldon's weekly schedule.
