In S10E12 ""The Holiday Summation"" Howard and Bernadette discover that parenting isn't that easy. Halley seems to take after Howard's mother and Stuart comes to the rescue again as in the episode "The Status Quo Combustion" when he took care of Mrs Wolowitz.

What will it be like if more babies are born? Will we get an episode where the babies are talking to each other and commenting on their parents?

Who will get pregnant next? Penny? Amy? Bernadette, again?

When will this happen? In each season at least one baby?

Or at the big finale of the show, will Penny, although she's always said that she doesn't want any children, then announce that she's pregnant?

I hope there are NO more babies. And I find the fact that Howard and Bernadette essentially rely on both Stuart and Raj to do most of their housework and a good deal of the work with the baby, repulsive. I know the writers need to find something for Raj and Stuart to do, but it makes Howard and Bernie seem like a complete pair of dopes who couldn't survive and have as much as a clean bathroom in their home if it weren't for, essentially, their two free servants.

I hope there's an episode where Stuart and Raj go on strike, get an apartment together, leave, and have Howard and Bernie have to take care of their own dumb asses for a change.

Bernadette never really wanted children, but Howard (and her father) persuaded her. In S9E07 "The Spock Resonance", Howard said:

"I admit that I don’t help out a lot and I need to work on that. But if we had a kid, it would be different."
"Because when my dad left, I promised myself that if I ever had a chance to be a father I’d always be there."

I hope he can keep his promise. Time will tell, there are still two seasons to go. slight_smile

Well; since they will not be having sex again for 75 years...no worries there!

But, seriously...

Let's hope that by the second one, He-and-She would have learned a few things. OR, at least, have the next one farther enough apart, so that the first can schlep for the second.

ALTHOUGH...

I remember when my younger sib was born; my aunts and maternal grandmother did everything.

As for the kids (if it comes to that) "commenting on their parents", I wouldn't be above seeing such, say, in a dream sequence.

Reminds me of a conversation in season 1.

Leonard: "Our babies will be smart and beautiful."

Sheldon: "Not to mention...imaginary."

If only Sheldon had been right. wink

Oops wink Bernadette is pregnant again.

I had expected Amy to be pregnant, making it interesting the next time Sheldon proposes.
If this continues, we will be assured of a future sequel: "The Big Bang Theory: The Next Generation" or "The Bigger Bang Theory". grin

Well, the natural assumption is probably that there would be less comedy if they were competent adults and parents.
