I wonder why they never brought Sheldons sister back. I would really love to see her interact with their mother.

And did we ever see his brother?

Same about Leonards family. Would be fun to see Beverly and her kids "who turned out well" ;)

We've thought the exact same thing.

I have imagined Leonards brother and sister as perfect little robots of his mothers creation. But after the opening they reveal that they are extremely jealous of Leonards life. Giving Len a new perspective.

This would be epic. A new perspective would be a great way to end the series.

I am very curious about Sheldon's brother and I definitely think it would be fun to see Sheldon's family interacting with Amy. We have seen Mrs. Cooper interacting with her, but we need more of this.

As for Leonard's family, I understand that this is a comedy and it's not to be taken seriously, but I really dislike Beverly as a character and the way she treats Leonard, well, I find it kind of depressing. I mean, I do enjoy her appearances on the show, but I can live without her, unlike Sheldon's mother, who I find way more likeable. I have to admit that Christine Baranski is great at playing b i t c h es.

I agree with everything, except I'm more brutal about Leonard's mother. I would be happier if she was never on the show again! They have gone too far in my opinion, she's like a caricature. I love Sheldon's mother, she's a great character! I would love to see all of the characters siblings!

Something interesting for me actually, I was chatting with some of my friends who are of Indian descent, and they said it was unusual for a family to have more than one child in India. Even wealthy families. So it's interesting that they have Raj who has so many siblings, and they make out that this is the norm in India. Unrelated, but thought it was interesting in regards to the siblings discussion

Well…

With a population of over 1.2B AND the constant jokes about overcrowding; it’s not hard to get viewers to believe six children per family.

Anyway…

Was curious about what your friend said about the number of kids; so did a search:

--The World Factbook (2016) – 2.45

--Answers.com – 3.1 (forgot to put the year—didn’t want to go back).

--Has too many credited sources to list; but it’s on the WorldBank.org page. - (2014) - 2.4

In my growing up days…and even now…most folks seem to have one or two. But, there was/is always the exception that seems to having them ‘coming out of the woodwork”. Guess Raj’s bunch is that exception.
