Just seeing who's made it here.

There are TWO GROUPS of Discussion Boards, MEDIA and SUPPORT.
Media - Movies, TV, Celebrity and General
Support - General, Website, API and Content Issues

Yahoo Answers, Quora, Reddit, Ask.fm etc can't replace IMDB message boards. I loved that IMDB had board discussion page for everything, movies, shows, actors, directors etc, even people who ever had only one small role for a second.

Hmmm . . . I beg to disagree. In terms of discussions related to TV shows (which happens to be my interest) Movie Chat hasn't had (with one exception) a new post on any particular show for 2 months; imdb2 looks much better, with more posts (but not more shows); and hashed seems between the two.
