I personally loved seasons 5 and 7.

8 was weak but I didn't hate the final like most people did.

For a while after it ended I was having serious Dexter withdrawal. But now I'm not sure if I want it to return. There are plenty of other great shows now filling that formally empty void.

I'll be honest, to this very day I'm still having Dexter withdrawal. There are other shows I enjoy to watch, but I've never connected with and enjoyed a show quite like Dexter. I would give just about anything to see it return.

Sadly, right now there are no immediate plans to revive it. However, Michael C. Hall and Showtime have consistently said they are open to the possibility of bringing it back. Personally, I really hope they do. Dexter is my favorite show of all time. I miss it everyday.

Evidently MCH said he will only return if the writing is something really compelling. Meanwhile, Showtime seems like they really want to do it. Sounds like MCH is done with it, so no more Dexter.

I heard the nbc would pick it up
