I'm glad, but at the same time I would have been fine with it ending after this season. I think this half of the season was kind of a call-back to season 1 by bringing Ward and Tripp back and calling Daisy Skye again. It would have come full circle in a sense and I would have been alright with it coming to an end. I wonder what storylines will happen next season.
From what I hear, Disney themselves put their foot down and forced ABC to renew (since Disney owns the station), otherwise the execs at ABC had planned on cancelling the show. Not surprising, since I don't think Disney would allow ABC to cancel the only show that promotes their Marvel movies on Network TV. Some thought The Inhumans would take on the mantle (and they had already cancelled Agent Carter), but we all saw how that turned out.

Cool. This season was top notch. Hoping for more like it. Sadly afraid of more Inhuman schilling, though.
