Yes he can, of course.

it could be the reason to break up fitz and jemma.

I think the question here is, will Fitz be able to forgive himself?

He got fixed. I actually missed a few of the first episodes of that season.. but he's like super smart again LOLZ

Was there actually dialogue or a storyline where he got fixed, cause I don't remember one. I thought he just returned after maybe season 3 and he was miraculously healed from stuttering and forgetting.

Again, I missed the first few epsisodes of his recovery, I think.. I pretty much started with Mack trying to get him on the right path.. and then there was one episode where he had to do something really fast that only he could do... and he was struggling with it all episode.. and then it's revealed he was pulling an Inigo Montoya - he was struggling to do it with his bad hand, but could easily do it with his good hand.. I don't remember hearing anything about his brain damage after that episode.
